That presumably is just a list of the out of contract players, we've offered Evans a new one.

Yep. Gundogan is on the Man City list for example

Perhaps we could do a swap?! Get Rudders to add that clause in Enzo's contract

In all fairness to him,  his Mom said "Jonny. If you go out drinking .. Promise me you will take a cab home "

I saw an article yesterday (can't find it now).  Evans was being interviewed as part of the build up to the Denmark game and was asked about his future with Leicester.  He said that discussions had been started, Leicester is a fantastic club and basically he'd be happy to stay if the deal was right.

Sounds like there's more conversations to have but he'll be offered some kind of contract.

Just a thought he’s been a great servant since coming from the baggies saved us numerous times  but because of his constant injuries and missing most of the season,  shouldn’t we try get more stability in the Captains role that’s on the pitch more than the physios table and give it to one of the others that can give the role everything because that’s what we were missing with Youri who wasn’t the best a leader that shows his leadership on the pitch?

I think he'd be valuable in a squad that will potentially be quite raw and new. Offers experience both on & off the pitch. But I'd only bother if the medical is a resounding yes. As it's pointless taking any kind of risk on him now.

I’ve read on here other suggestions that he offers experience off the pitch but other than being older than the majority of the squad, the lack of leadership shown from Evans is spectacular if ask me.

His comments after the Liverpool game, once relegation was confirmed were far from someone I’d consider a leader that I’d run through walls for.

There is no upside to even considering this. Prime Jonny was good but he's barely played for 2 seasons. More games next season as well. We need to move on.
