Because you offered about 6 quid for him. Offer the asking price and he’s yours.

Its the same every time we deal with Italian clubs. If they don´t pay the price demanded they can f... off.

TuttoMercatoWeb on Friday states Torino director Davide Vagnati made a trip to England last week, where he held talks with Leicester. This has helped the Belgium international get closer to Torino, but the deal is nowhere close to being completed.

It’s explained ‘a few more talks will be needed’ between the Italian club and the Foxes to arrive at a ‘white smoke’ for the operation to take shape in January.

Brendan Rodgers’ side want to ‘protect themselves’ and include an obligation to buy if it’s a loan deal, even though Torino would prefer to have an option to buy. If it’s a sale in the winter market, the price tag set by the Premier League side is around €10m.

Over at Tuttosport, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, they state Torino have made an €8m bid for Praet, but it has not convinced Leicester.

Torino manager Ivan Jurić is keen to have Praet at his disposal in the winter market, while the player is doing everything to return to his former club. However, Leicester are in no mood to give discounts.

If we want 10 and they are offering 8, it's got to get done.

Depends on how they want to pay I guess, probably in coupons, IOUs and signed pictures of Berlusconi

I mean there’s negotiation and then just taking the piss out of yourself. Torino behaving like utter muppets, again. You have to at least TRY to play the game.

Same source said Alves was going to be out for 3/4 weeks so I wouldn’t be overly confident of that one.

Well I mean they weren't wrong...he will be out for 3/4 weeks...and then some 😅

Such a nothing player. Classic case of a player who's reputation improves when he doesn't play. Offers so little at Premier League level.

Hard to offer anything or gain confidence or momentum when your manager doesnt play you?

Ridiculous to potentially let him, Youri and Madders all go. Rely on Kdh?!! 😞 they better get the transfer window bang on then otherwise our midfield is non existent

I’ve never been a massive fan. Decent squad player, nothing more than that. If we can get somewhere around that £8m, then I’d take it.

Now he is injured not going anywhere.

Would anyone trust Rodgers to buy someone to replace Praet?

Just such a stupid thing to say. Rodgers doesn’t buy players, a team of at least 10 people do.

10? Behave. Rodgers had the say on who he wants and that’s been the case since he came here. Rudkin puts them on stupid wages and the scouts report to Rodgers their findings. No way is it anywhere near 10. It’s LCFC not Miami Dolphins.

and I can’t imagine 2 let alone 10 thought vestergaard was going to be good business

Scouts, recruitment analysts, financial, Brendan, Rudkin, Top. Loads of people are involved. Just because you don’t like Rodgers doesn’t mean everything is his fault. We signed Slimani, Musa, Silva, Inler, Kermogant in the past too, those signings weren’t blamed on the managers.
