Well done England. You might be a bit too pragmatic at times and maybe haven't faced the most scary opponents, but you have cruised through the group stages at the World Cup. Good luck in the knock outs.

Disappointing effort from Wales at this tournament. Was always going to be difficult but feel like they didn't have a go. 

 

Standard England really, good enough to beat the poor teams but don't look like we will beat anyone decent.

To be fair, they’re two completely different players. Maddison may have a role to play in this World Cup, but if he doesn’t it’s nothing to do with whether Phillips plays or not.
