Might not be a popular opinion on here but I don't think we need another plan.

The last two games for instance, if we score chances we should then we don't lose either. That tells me everything in the system is working.

Just because the build up is slower and we eventually carve out a chance does not mean that that's worse than four or five rushed build ups. In fact it works on the premise that the chance we create is better.

Compare the chances we made in last 20 minutes against Boro to the amount of chances our 'Plan B' of sticking Wes Morgan up front and lumping it to him ever worked under Pearson.

Yeah i get that and thanks for replying....it's just that it doesn't allways have to be the same way of playing.Enzo's done a brilliant job getting us out of the Rodgers Malaise....lost our best players. But we don't have the urgency when we are losing

I don't think anyone's saying that, we're trying to establish how we can see out games better that we haven't put to bed. We aren't blessed with quality on the bench except for central defence and up front but that varies depending on availability.

I think we need to shut up shop with the changes we make.

Attacking wise I think you've got a point.

But defending a lead I definitely think we need a plan b.

I was directly responding to the above that said we don't have a plan B, haven't heard what was discussed on the podcast.

In terms of seeing a game out - I think it was just wrong to expect we could defend for 45 minutes with 10 men against Coventry. You can't defend that deep in any game, I don't care if it's with ten men.

The Leeds game is different to that. I think if you miss that many chances then any team in world football runs the risk of conceding a few chances the other end and sod's law that we end up conceding from it. I honestly don't feel like we have the issues some think we do on here. I think we will win the vast majority of the next 12 and ease to promotion.

Just caught up with the last 2 pod episodes, both great listens as always. I think you have found a great balance between sensible debate, humour and a fans over reaction. Top drawer fellas, keep up the good work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I get what you're saying as clearly the current plan works, but teams will adapt to try and take control and win a game. With that in mind, we should be doing the same.

If we have lost tempo/balance and put under significant pressure from the opposing team, it would be a mistake to keep playing the way we are as the other team is getting a foothold in the game. I'm no football tactician but to hope the same thing works 100% of the time just won't work.

Good point made on the last pod (I think it was Harry) about experience and Pearson’s use of Hammond and GTF. I would add the likes of Cambiasso, Huth and Wasilewski as signings that NP made to add a bit of experience and nous to our squad at the right times. There was an interview with one of his analysts who talked about that being part of the qualities they wanted for certain signings. I guess it’s easy to be seduced by the young exciting player with a high ceiling, which was generally the Rodgers way (Maddison, Tielemans, Fofana etc). But he never balanced that with older heads.

And it needs to be older heads who can dig in. Even a Schmeichel in goal gives us something else in these tight games, no matter how good Hermansen is. I think at the moment we have Coady who could come in and naturally fill that role. Our other seasoned leader is Vardy, but he’s out for a few weeks now. The remaining older players are generally quieter types - Ricardo, Albrighton, Vestergaard, - which is fine but we need more steel.

Hopefully we get it done this season, but I’d like to see us bringing in one or two of this sort of player in the summer to help some of these issues.

Caught up with both podcasts. Always listen on way to work & way back from work. Excellent points discussed/debated (and Analogies from Ric as usual😂)  laughed out loud at the XL bully one😆

Just drove from Gloucester with this week's pod on and wanted to say similar.

Much prefer it when it's a straight up football pod.

Harry is a great addition as the 5th Beatle, knowledgeable and speaks well.

Thanks chaps and noted on the feedback - hopefully we can get H on more, he's an absolute encyclopedia on football and would be a very good permanent addition particularly given the availability we've got.

Thanks again BSLB boys! Really appreciate what you do. I know it’s easy for us here to keep demanding more regular quick episodes but you all have dah jobs and lives and this is a passion project. Hope it can become successful enough where you can afford to spend more time on it.

Regarding the latest pod yeh I’m guilty of tuning in as a form of therapy as well as hear your expert opinions. Rick is what I feel  inside after these games and he is pretty much spot on every time.

i am invested and a believer of the Enzo way. It does work when it really comes together. It is NOT fool proof. This system is effective when our players play to the max ie, create chances/finish chances ruthlessly/close out games & dominate.

However, this system fails if our players are not 100% committed from being tired, unfocused or lacking confidence. The collapse has happened enough you can pin point the signs now before things unfold it’s that predictable. If we can see it you can be damn sure our opposition managers are planning for it. Why does it happen? Could be a number of reasons but it’s safe to say it’s going to happen. Maybe the players know this and they are trying to hard to put away those sitters and missing ie over thinking it. I’ve been reading up on sports psychology and Leicester is a text book case right now. It’s a tough one. We need a few good leaders to step up now and drag the rest by the scruff of their necks over the line. Hope Enzo has a plan. If not he can call a friend like a certain Mr, guardiola. 😉

Great pod yet again.

@Ric Flair hit the nail on the head. This is no longer about how talented we are, it’s about fight. We’ve got 12 scraps coming up, and it’s going to tell us a lot about this teams mental resolve.

Therapy pod incoming.

Pod being recorded tomorrow, so should be out tomorrow night.

Out of interest as our recording has been a bit erratic in recent months but keen to get everyone's views.

Do you think we should have a set day/time we do a pod and we shouldn't really deviate from that regardless of commitments etc? Or happy with it being as and when we can do it?

Something along the lines of if we play Fri/Sat then pod to be available by Sunday night, if we play Sunday then pod available by Monday night?

Whatever suits you guys.

Unless you’re making a major income from it, then it’s your free time you use!

I’m looking forward to the next one though.

I get the feeling it might be carnage after yesterday, with a few chair and rock jokes thrown in!
