Having said all that it doesn't excuse some of the poor performances put in today. I was really looking forward to this match as well. So disappointing.

44 total attempts in the game from both sides.

No goals.

Can't really pick out any stand-out performers today. Perhaps if we had scored one of the early chances it's a totally different game. But we didn't, and Man Utd are a different kind of team under Ten Hag. Much better tactically during a game, and more spirit.

Talk about all the VAR decisions all we want, but they only paint part of the picture. Too many passengers once again and the mentality arguably could be questioned in that we seemed to just give up after the 2nd goal.

Rodgers' Leicester career summed up in one game there. Started off amazingly, look like a bottom of the league side by the end.

Ward seriously needs to be removed from the team. Faes also had a stinker. Tielemans and Soumare actively made us a worse team. Refs made sure they kept the Utd fans happy.

Played really well until they scored. Didn't do a lot after it. Defence was a shambles. Refereeing and the VAR absolutely shocking.

Best to move on.

United deserved that based on the second half. We were really poor again (second half) heads dropped again. The subs were poor and left us open. I’m just hoping this doesn’t lead to another run of disastrous results.

All the goals we conceded were really poor.

Can blame the ref or whatever but we were really poor 2nd half.

It’s a shame because first half we played really well. But just folded far too easily second half

We are not good enough to go to Man Utd and be surprised if we get comprehensively beaten. Disappointing that we've made it easy for them to score goals and we have to take our chances. Same problems we've always had when the game gets quick.

Unfortunate to go in behind in 1st half.

Abject and embarrassing 2nd half.

Doesn't help that they had 12 men for most of the game

Perfect summary.

Disgraceful from the ref and VAR today, but we didn’t do ourselves any favours that second half to be totally honest. Still tough against the ref and VAR

Can’t give the ball away like we do at key points against Man Utd. You get away with it at Villa not at Old Trafford.

Played our way into the game by pinging it around well and pressed better than them first half. But sloppy from Faes for the first goal.

Come out 2nd half and can’t keep the ball, just kept giving it away easily and got punished. Counter press was ineffective and they were through us like a hot knife through butter repeatedly.  Would be surprised if we completed 30 passes between 45-60 mins. Midfield 2 were awful in that period but clearly Ten Hag switched something at half time to force it. By the time we reacted the game was gone and we still didn’t deal with it.

Couple of defensive errors and some appalling refereeing overshadowed a good performance for 50 mins.

Needed to capitalize and score when we looked the better team.

Move on. Played really well for 30 or so minutes but showed far too much respect in front of goal.

Some of the worst refereeing I've seen in a long time but because its a scum victory it won't even get a mention.

Tete starting to worry me.

as said, thought we played well till they scored then the wheels fell off, doesnt help when the officials and VAR was a shambles again

but they wont comment on it, they'll be ok with it since it went FOR a big 6 team

One team had a goalkeeper, the other didn't.

Forget it, move on. And buy a goalkeeper in the summer for the sake of all things holy.

Thought KDH had a decent game, and was really surprised he got hooked.
