This is the future under Brendan. It's going to be hard to stay up with him and his negative tactics going into games.

True to an extent but it’s also quite clear our squad just isn’t very good without Maddison.

Without madders, we’re relegation fodder.

I worry for next season if we are still in the prem. rebuilding a new team without a sort of spine is one hell of an undertaking. We need to do it early and effectively.

on this game, if that was a World Cup game it would have been 25minutes added time. Jorginho went down at least 4 times, 30 seconds for each sub with 8 subs made, Tielemens down and the time wasting. Refs really need to crack down on that. It ruins the game.

But we were poor and that is the upshot of it.

For what? His performance was nowhere near as dire as ours?

I think the frustration at how Arsenal’s anti football antics weren’t managed…. It’s just what I observed…. The boing was directly at the ref as he was walking off and it stopped when he went down the tunnel

Granted Arsenal are top of the league but you have to play what's in front of you and today, that was a bang average Arsenal performance.

We looked like a group of Sunday league players who have never seen each other before.

Absolute dross.

Let's hope we are marginally better than the other cannon fodder lurking at the bottom.

Strange game.

We were somehow still in it with 5 mins to go despite being outplayed all game and with zero shots on target.

KDH deserves credit for being the only player who tried to make something happen despite not showing enough quality when it mattered. We're just a very ordinary team without Maddison and/or Youri at their best.

Match day experience was shite once again.

Not sure booing at FT having lost 0-1 to the best team in the country is going to help lift moods.

Some of our fans really need to google what “perspective” means.

Yeah because it was a performance full of desire and energy. Lol. FFS we managed 1 off target shot, was poor alround I don't care about the opposition, a amateur team would have been more threatening than us. Thoroughly deserving of dissent in my opinion.

Which firstly ain’t a bad tactic - (it’s served us well for a very long time playing the top sides) because why the **** lose your defensive shape? Players like Souttar, Kristansen, Praet worked their bollocks off today.

If you can’t see that you’ve never played a game of competitive football in your life. Particularly when you played a better team than your own.

I mean I've done both given I play competitively at the moment in regional leagues. And standing off isn't what we've done successfully (not frankly have many teams, if you stand off and allow more no-pressure passes, you're more likely to concede), we've pressured as a team, even more so when we've been behind.

Fair enough, I wouldn’t agree but if it’s what you observed. I’d say his only real error was not booking Saka for his persistent fouls and kicking the ball away.

Diabolical game plan, we've not kept a clean sheet against a big 6 team since 2020 I don't think, so what on earth is the point of playing for a clean sheet because there was not a chance we were going to create a chance worthy enough of a goal, we were hoping, I assume for a mistake from Arsenal and yet they had the easiest afternoon defending against us.

A deeply perturbing days football for Leicester City today from the U18s, U21s and 1st team. We're on our arse right now, yet the spin doctors will be out in force with noses firmly up botty's.

We stink from top to bottom

Hopefully the U11’s got a result ……

So what happened last weekend when we went chasing a game in midfield ? Got repeatedly ran though by more skillful players.

Played teams like Liverpool and beat them at home by keeping shape

Poor of us not to at least have a go at them.  At some point Rodgers has to drop the defensive crap he serves up otherwise it's curtains for us.

Next week is massive and we need to set ourselves up to win the game.  Must win game.

Jorginho having 4 near death experiences in the last ten minutes was beyond irritating…. I didn’t see any major rickets from the ref myself…. The fans were giving him pelters though…

Waste of a day going to watch that. Set up for a 0-0, never had any chance of winning it, when they went 1-0 up they sat back and relaxed. 1 shot in 90 minutes and 0 on target is an absolute disgrace. Got a manager who is clueless, got a football club who I spend thousands of pounds on every year and they don't seem to give a shit and want to try and alienate me even more by making me pick up my bloody tickets 'at random'.

Rapidly falling out of love with the game, I wish I had a different hobby.

We played with real attacking intent for two-and-a-half games which yeilded 6 points then we reverted to type. The Rodgers' blueprint is to set the team up not to lose and invariably we do, particularly when we have a keeper who consistently fails to make the 'big' saves (unlike Kasper most notably in the FA Cup final which we would not have won had Ward been between the sticks). The great escape wasn't achieved by negative tactics. Rodgers' tactical cowardice will continue to cost us as it has him throughout his career (most notably when Liverpool blew it down the stretch). Unfortunately, given our current league position this time we might pay an even bigger price than failing to finish fourth twice and failing to maximize our opportunities in Europe.

Don’t know what to take away from that performance other than we looked like we were trying really hard to to play for a point.

it was boring and ineffectual plus arses are pretty good at ball control and possession.

I get that the way we collapsed against manu probably threw our confidence off but like others have said madders makes us tick. The beginning of the manu game and todays performance you’d think we are two entirely different teams!

if we start getting the points going forwards than I’m not worried but these are now MUST WIN games period! Look at the table. If everyone drew today it would have been good but wasn’t the case sadly.

come on foxes please sort it out so we don’t get dragged back down 🙏🏽
