TMELcfc Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 I’d like Ange or Frank, but more realistic… is Nige or Rafa
Ginger_Filbert Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 I think we will wait for Potter to get the boot then jump straight on him. Seem to remember rumours we was considering him earlier in the season.

somebum Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 These Muppets will go for Rafa. But he will get us organised.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Gosh Rafa is favourite.....looks like these merry go round managers in the Premiership don't have a shelf life 1

adam Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Rafa will get it until the end of the season. He will keep us up then the board will get carried away and offer him a 3 year deal. Then this time next year we will be in the same situation. 3 1

I think Chelsea was a step too far too soon for someone like Potter with all those egos to manage, whereby you need a manager more used to all that like Tuchel and others. A club this size is more Potter's forte to manage and rebuild back up if possible I'd say.
JamesWelshFox Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Time to bring Nige back in from the cold. Top can be friends with everyone and let Nige fire the bullets. If Nige's boy hadn't been such a muppet, we wouldn't have parted ways that summer. Time we had someone back at the helm to rattle Dyche's cage !!! 4

NewEnglandFox Posted 2 April 2023 Posted 2 April 2023 Rafa put Newcastle down a couple seasons ago. Winning the Champions League, another top 5 league, or a bunch of domestic cups really isn't the pedigree needed to stay up. How many other big European guys came to England and couldn't keep a team out of the relegation battle? Ancelotti for one.

I think it would guarantee that we would stay up not so with Rafa, no brainier to bring Pearson back. 1

That was more of a what I want post than what I think is going to happen. Frankly I think a problem with managerial appointments is that they are made to be indefinitely.
