Anyone that gets his side playing to the front men earlier and longer. Sick to death of these pound-shop Guardiola’s with their bullshit coaching badges complicating everything.

Depressing list when you look at it.

A lot of this, if we do go down, will take a lot of adjustment for us as fans. The players linked with and signed etc. It's quite horrific from where we were.

It needs a whole reset of mentality. No flash Harrys. A lot of ego taken out of it. A bit like when Pearson come in after Sven and realised what was needed.

It'll be unpopular after today but I'd still keep this set up with Dean Smith. I don't think that will happen but I still think it's the right choice.

A large part of me doesn’t care anymore - it’s that bad. Amazing reports from Bourne and Tanner that senior figures in the club don’t believe we will go down. Looks like Rodgers gave the coolaid around before he left.

For Mendy not to make the squad in a game he should’ve started in suggests to me it won’t be Dean Smith.

Stick with the model - younger up & coming manager who’s done enough elsewhere to indicate that a first time promotion is probable not possible

No-one. If professional athletes won’t play for pride, even personal pride, Christ, even to give themselves the best chance of a decent job, then no manager swings this about- the clear out needs to be harsh.

Ralph Hassenhuttl isn't a bad shout in my opinion. I think he could give us the cultural reset that we need and give him the chance to come back stronger, kinda like Marco Silva has done at Fulham.

Yes I feel he might come, would take him all day mostly in the Championship.

I mean he can, he will next season, we’ll be looking up at them wishing we’d taken him.

No we won’t cheers.

He probably won’t even be there anyway.

Not a bad shout all things considered, I rated him better than DS to be honest but I wouldn't be disappointed if he came in.

More of a case of who would want a job at a club with demoralised staff, little money, dissolusioned fans, a chairman and board with little clue, ...

...an opportunist!!!

With our naive board and DoF, we could sign a contract with the realisation that they are too desperate to say no. Make sure there are no clauses to neutralise any payment should the club choose to terminate your tenure before the length of the contract.

Mckenna or Robins for me.

We need a coach who's flexible in system to cope with the mixture of new trash the club inevitably bring in, and old trash we are stuck with.

I have zero faith that we get this right. It will probably be Gerrard or Lampard

Looking at the state of this poll, we really are the new Forest, living in the past. :(

It’s pretty easy to see why they did it for so long really isn’t it? It’s lovely in the past, we were so competent.

But in terms of Nigel Pearson he was right for us in 2011 when morons were saying never go back and we’re living in the past, and he’s right for us now. Only problem is we’ve left it too late and Bristol City are a more attractive option than us now.

It is, when we were good it was joyous, not only that, but the journey to be good (Thanks Nigel). So yes, it is easy to see why they remember so fondly those positive times. Too early for reminiscing  though, lets wait until we are officially, unalterably confirmed as relegated and it won`t be long on current trajectory.
