Not unless he's mastered omnipresence as well as the water and wine. 😉

A person who has had a single good run, in a single competition over a short space of time is not what we need right now. However hopefully it does show that we’re looking outside of the expected.

who remembers Paulo Sousa, now wanted by Napoli

I remember Paulo Sousa Piri Piri Pies, and that geezer who made a song about it and went to Pukka Pies.

Still scars my memory.

...it was a bit like Shakey taking over from Ranieri!!!

Phillipe Clement was the manager in charge and built a very exciting team, played using all the pitch, two wingers stretching the opponents. He left to go to Monaco but the team just did not have the same energy.

It would be interesting if he could step-up and make this work.

I think he's one of the best (young) Belgian managers alongside Kompany (Burnley), Clement (Monaco), Vrancken (KRC Genk) and Karel Geaerts (Union).

I would've loved him as the new manager at Leuven. He interviewed for the job as well. This interview took place at Leicester by the way. He must've impressed TOP and the board of Leicester.

That's interesting. I bet Rudkin interviewed him. What's his preferred style? Does he go for youth or experience?

If he likes to play long ball football we can call him Hoofkens.

I don’t understand the obsession with Potter. Tippy tappy death by football, Brendan 2.0

Because he offers the Pearson approach of rebuilding the structure of the club into something functional once more.

Averaged 1.89 point a game over the 18 games in charge. 86 points in a 46 season.

Would be a massive gamble again and very strange appointment.

That’s exactly how it would end up, almost to a tee. We’d be the XG merchants.

But he’d probably get us up, keep us in the Premier League and leave us in a good place. And as of right now, that sounds pretty appealing. He’s also a lot more humble, which fans would appreciate.
