Super_horns Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 Fantastic by Palace. Very embarrassing for Man U. Those kids on the bench might have done better .

Most ‘Keepers are 6’ 3’’+, and most, myself included, think they’re over protected when it comes to corners, crosses etc when challenged. That’s just my opinion of course. copunk Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 We've seen us play atrocious over the last few years at times, but I don't think I have seen a team play that badly, in any sport, for a long long long time Casemiro had honestly one of the worst displays of football I have ever witnessed in my life

Burnley fans will probably be asking why wasn’t a foul given on their keeper when Luton scored late on up there a while back. Was a rare example of a keeper not getting a foul . Didn’t matter tonight as Man U were utterly hopeless and totally outplayed but another time it might . Edited 6 May 2024 by Super_horns 1
David Hankey Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 When Leicester City do the double over Manure next season they will ripe for relegation given tonight's performance.

You don’t keep the likes of Kroos and Modric around at their ages without a real good eye for when a player is at the end of his peak 1

So you're telling me you want to change the GK interference rule also and ruin an already fckd sport even more? There's a certain timing window and way to challenge a ball from the GK and it's been like that for decades. This protection of the GK has or had specific rules based on timing and positioning of the challenge. Suddenly now a brigade of new "generation" you're all coming to change fundamental rules and values of the sport ruining it day by day.

Don’t think anyone is saying let’s go back to the 50s/60s style barging the keeper in the net stuff ! We just didn’t think there was much in it and not did the guys on Sky. Maybe a tap on the arm which I guess will get pulled up these days. Edited 6 May 2024 by Super_horns 1
Popular Post Corky Posted 6 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 6 May 2024 Man Utd fans from school days realising what supporting a football team is like for most of us. 9
CosbehFox Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 West Ham justified in letting Moyes go but that replacement is horrid. Bloke clearly brings baggage with him.
Langston Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 Glasner doing a superb job but in that coat he looks like an auntie in a garden centre cafe and I can't get over it. 1
Wymsey Posted 6 May 2024 Posted 6 May 2024 Am really looking forward to hearing Chris Sutton criticising us weekly.. 1

If you believe this blatant 100% foul wasn't a violation I have a way for us to win the PL next season. We sign a 6.4-7.0ft guy and one of these YouTubers that have mastered corners ball placement (hundreds of them, they can pinpoint 99 out of 100 corner kicks to curl in specific heights near the goal line). Profit. There are football rules which were written specifically to avoid manipulation of the game. If you want to change or interprete them to your own likings it's going to be mayhem. P. S. I don't care what happened with same incidents in other games. Officiating is a disgrace, they're all incompetent. I'm talking about the rules strictly. Edited 6 May 2024 by Fear Of The Fox 1

The fact we’ve got legal backing in now will aid us, because those who decide how to administer the points can’t just suddenly get it right…… they’ve started throwing their weight around without properly understanding their own legislation, which will comeback to do their legs. If Forest get all of their points back, then Everton will have to surely, a breach is a breach and that’s that, they can’t go around just making things up as they go along? Which is essentially what they’re doing. Dishing out points, taking them back, dishing out some more and then taking more back….. it’s chaotic….. Their inability to deal with Manchester City's blatant, industrial-level cheating over a decade has *directly* led to extreme consequences for us. Unequivocally. 1
