The extra £5m seems so pointless lol

West Ham definitely making them do it so they can claim they got the record for an English player lol

Didn’t realise Almeida by the cathedral was owned by PIF. Thanks for the information, will have a look at the others nonetheless!

Naa that one’s owned by a friend of mine lol

Miguel deffo couldn’t care less who owns what to be fair.

Am I the only person who doesn't think that Declan Rice is actually that good?

I think he's alright, but still overrated.

Feels like another “is this what they really need” Arsenal signing. If they’ve got £100m to spend they should be targeting the best strikers in the world.

I thought this until I saw him against us. I think he's a good player, really good at picking the ball up and driving with it.

£100m is obscene though, but as always, it is his value to West Ham and to them he probably is worth £100m.

Are Man City going back in for him though? Having already spent £100m on a player they are willing to do it again. I just don't know how they win all these trophies

I like Rice but £100m plus is unbelievable. There is more than just a number involved in a transfer I know but the list of £100m plus players is mad.

I don't believe Man City were ever that interested in him.

He's not worth £100 million!

What could have been if we'd sacked Rodgers when Emery was still available

Smacking £55million on him, not small money being chucked around.

Emery has transformed Villa. To do in such a short space of time is pretty commendable.

Getting Monchi in as well, they're genuinely setting themselves up to be a best of the rest and a prime team to capitalise on any big teams having a poor season.

The top half of the Prem must be the best it's ever been in terms of ability. As you'd expect with the eye-watering amount of money in the Premier League.

Based on the last 1-2 seasons, amazed he's reached that amount. Chelsea do well getting rid of their assets for big money.

I think they wanted a lot more originally but settled for something rather than nothing .

And most importantly they have owners with money so can push on
