Tuna Posted 10 August 2023 Posted 10 August 2023 (edited) At least Kane will get some actual medals and trophies. Edited 10 August 2023 by Tuna
Tuna Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 (edited) Caicedo to Liverpool - is he really worth this sort of fee? Edited 11 August 2023 by Tuna
Super_horns Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 (edited) Thought Klopp said Liverpool didn't have that kind of money? I guess if needs must clubs will push the boat out to spend what they can. Edited 11 August 2023 by Super_horns
copunk Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Fair play to Kane, will go to one of the worlds biggest clubs and win trophies, play consistent champions league football and be paid handsomely The English media can go on about the premier league scoring record all they want but in the end it doesn't get you a trophy 1

Admittedly never watched a lot of Brighton, but I don't remember him pulling any trees up to be worth that sort of money. Least now Klopp can't shout about being the only big team not to have spent tonnes of money
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 I like Caicedo but Brighton have played an absolute blinder getting that kind of cash for him. 4
Lionator Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 £110m for someone who blows hot and cold. Genius from Brighton if they reinvest adequately. 1

StanSP Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Insane for Brighton. Fair play to them their recruitment has been so good. White, Trossard, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Bissouma, Cucurella. And probably Mitoma they'll get a hefty fee for one day.
Vacamion Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 The Times article today picks a predicted player of the season for each club in the Prem. Newcastle: Barnes Spurs: Maddison It really hits home what a criminal waste Brendan Rodgers made of the talent at his disposal, the utter preening diminutive whalloper. 1

shen Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 (edited) 110m for Caicedo is insane. Klopp must (rightly) be desperate for midfielders, but this reeks of panic mode. And West Ham must feel a bit cheated now. Edited 11 August 2023 by shen
Guest Kopfkino Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Transfer market has gone completely insane now. Caicedo for 110 is insane, talk of 90-100 for Paqueta also mental. It’s got to be a bubble that bursts soon. Bellingham was always going Madrid but I thought it was said Liverpool couldn’t afford him. Now they’re paying about 40m too much for Caicedo
turlo Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Last season was Caicedos first full season in England as well. He hardly started in the previous season under Potter. Madness

when_you're_smiling Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Did Brighton reject £30m for Caicedo from Chelsea? Then Liverpool come in with £110m. 🤯
RowlattsFox Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 Some of the players that have gone for over or near £100m
StanSP Posted 11 August 2023 Posted 11 August 2023 I've already seen some Liverpool fans delighted about it. But if Chelsea spent that money they'd cry about it
Popular Post RonnieTodger Posted 11 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 11 August 2023 Good lad Harry. What a load of insufferable and patronising bollocks about the Bundesliga meaning nothing. As if winning the odd Carabao Cup at Man United is somehow preferable. Bayern won the Champions League only three years ago. 5
