Call me absolutely mental, maybe just optimistic, but I can see both Huddersfield and Plymouth getting points next week to reopen the gap for us if we can bounce back and beat QPR.

Ipswich have some tricky games in April. Southampton, Norwich, Watford, Boro, Coventry & Hull

If some of you are trying to wind up the rest of us by calling disasters etc, challenge accepted and I'll raise the stakes: I'm so glad Ipswich won and I want them to win most of their remaining games so they'll get promoted with us.

The thing is they're like a cockroach, so hard to kill off. They've lost the fewest games in the league. They seem to have an inner believe and resilience that is very strong.

Happily take that. Southampton 11 behind with 12 to go. If they catch us from here, Ipswich and Leeds will have anyway.

To be honest Leeds fans are probably more pissed off with jammy Ipswich than what we are. At least we have a cushion

No disgrace in losing unluckily at Leeds but that home defeat to Boro really was very bad when you look at their recent form and injury list.

I’m one of the most pessimistic people out there but what we’ve all got to remember is that teams WILL drop points as we’ve seen today with Southampton. The rest of the season won’t be a cakewalk for us but that’s the same for Leeds and Ipswich. Play like we have done this season and we’ll get the job done.

What a bad time for Southampton to start losing took them 200 million unbeaten games to get to second to lose it again after a few losses

The dynamic may change for Leeds as soon as promotion is theirs to lose. Very different pressure to chasing.

curious which of our games people are worried about. For me the Hull and southampton ones are the only 2 i could see a loss happening in. But the odds of losing both are probably quite slim. 

 

There will be a random loss or 2 in there as well but surely everyone will drop points somewhere.
