What is the first thing the club has to do?

It sounds wishy-washy but they have to make me fall in love with them again. That means doing things like scrapping the need to have a membership to buy a match ticket, getting rid of all this nonsense like t-shirt cannons, fan cam, clappers etc. Get back in touch with the local community and supporter base and don't be charging a fortune for kids to be mascots. 

 

I really hope they use this as an opportunity to build a team and a club we can be proud of again, hopefully reenergised with a new manager and a group of players that want to play for the badge.

Realise we have been relegated, this board has had their heads so far up their own arses for far too long that I am not entirely convinced they have even realised we have been relegated yet

There is a long list of things that need to be done, I am not confident that the people running the club are competent enough to do them

The first thing I want to see is a statement from the Board (not just Top) and some action (eg a Board shakeup, Rudkin sacked etc).

They need to get players contracts sorted ASAP for those who want to stay. He then needs to inject some cash to get a decent squad to go straight back up. He needs to basically prove he is sorry and wants to sort it out.

 

Dont faff about like we do in every transfer window just get it sorted early 

 

Then do we keep Smith or not? I think he will but personally I would like a change. Get someone in early yet again. 

 

Scrap the shitty Asia cup thing and get a proper pre season in place all.over the UK

 

Then get rid of rudkin.

 

Make the ticket prices reasonable and the kit affordable and make a real effort pushing the home games and get the spirit back. Oh and go straight back ip!

We need something from the hierarchy. An apology, a statement of intent, a resignation of a certain someone, cancellation of that pointless Far East football tournament. Just something to show they care.

Today they need to issue a statement to allay the fears of the fans which includes an independent inquiry into how the club is ran, from Top (pun intended) to bottom. 

They also have had 7 weeks to scout potential managers for either scenario, so we should have a shortlist and a number one manager we want to put in charge. Go get him NOW, so he can take a look at the squad, decide who he wants to keep and can review this season and make sure he learns from previous managers mistakes.

The last thing the club needs is for this review to drag on and for us not to approach the next manager until it’s too late. Unfortunately, with how the club has been run for the last 2 years - I cannot see a real change happening off the field and we will rush into a last minute appointment as manager.

It’s actually unbelievable that they didn’t have 2 statements ready, for either scenario. This leads me to believe, they STILL didn’t think we would go down. Baffling.
