I heard rumours was off Madrid before the start the 21/22 season.

 

This didn't come about in the last 12 months, he was always running his contract down.

Soyuncu and Tielemans would have fetched a combined £80m last summer. If Rodgers knew he didn't like Soyuncu he could have sold him when his stock was high. What was the point in freezing him out? Tell your board to sell him ASAP if you don't like him.

Great move for him! 

He definitely had a huge dip in form with us and was rightly dropped BUT in no way should he have ever been left out for so long. 

On his day, he was our best CB. Actually really happy for him and this move.

Not based on anything but I get the feeling we were planning to sell him last summer until Chelsea came in with a stupid bid for Fontana that we couldn’t turn down which left us too short at the back to let him go

Really, genuinely glad he got a move to a Champions League club too.

 

A hard working player, deserved (KDH ), of such a move, unlike other players who had delusions of grandeur. 

 

One of not many players i'm gutted to see go.
