The home game against Sevilla & the FA cup final were just out of this world, it was like he just was not going to get beaten..

The away game vs Sevilla was probably more remarkable. We should have been completely out of sight coming back to our place.

Hermansen has been amazing what a great signing!! But he is still number 2 to Kasper for Denmark for all those comparing the two.

I think he has the potential to be on par with Kasper, but still a long way to go before we can claim he is better.

What I like about is that concentration brilliant, in most of our games he been a passenger, but when he needs to make a save (usually when the game is in the balance) he been superb

Sorry for being pedantic, but I think he’s actually number 3 as he’s behind Rønnow from Union Berlin too. That said, Mads is an excellent talent and if we go up and he continues to be a huge presence for us, then it’s a matter of time before he becomes Denmark’s number 1.

Seems a really nice lad! Stayed for 5 minutes at the end to speak to a young person in a wheelchair and give them his gloves and photo. Then for a bit longer when a couple of other kids tried their luck :)

Passenger is harsh  he probably gets ad many touches as a few outfield players

Kasper has a whole career & life experiences behind him…He carries country & club shirt with pride and top GK skills.

Hermansen…is in GK terms a baby, that shows for his short career great potential, and in some areas a potential that may

outweigh Kaspers long career, but Matts tank needs filling a few more times, before his journey can be judged or compared to older GKs…

Think it’s fair to say if he was here at the beginning of last season we’d have stayed up. Looks every part the modern keeper and bar a couple of risky passes (inevitable given the sample size) he’s looked very assured all season. Should have a very successful career at a big club if things go to plan for him.

But Kasper is No. 1 for Denmark based more on his past performances than the present - he has been bad over the last couple of games

I know it’s not the cool thing to do, but at what point do we start to question his kicking?

The decision making has been shocking and i think it would be a much bigger thing if some had been burried. But i’m really struggling to see how the positives of these risky passes out weighs the negatives?

I can’t think of too many chances they have led to, compared to how many big chances have been given away.

He’s a great keeper, i just wish we’d say …play the open balls, support the play. but if it’s 50-50… don’t risk it.

The issue we have is when he goes long it come back at the moment as Vardy and Nacho aren't going to win it and hold it up.

there’s an in between though. I’m not saying lump it. I’m saying don’t try to split 2 strikers, with a narrow ball to winks while he also has a player on his back.

He just takes unnecessary risks imo and whilst he’s good with his feet, he’s far from perfect and those stray balls happen far too often in such a crucial area.

Id say faes is a very good example of what to do. He will try things in the right moments but also knows when it’s too risky he  will seek an alternative

Mads is quality but will make a few mistakes because he is being asked to play a high risk style.

I find it insane that people are criticising after the shit we had after Kasper.

Every keeper in the world who plays out makes mistakes.

I think you have to take the rough with the smooth.

I reckon he has a better pass completion rate then most championship defenders and a good number of the midfielders.

The one thing he has to get better is the decision making. We've lost a couple of goals this season when he's played the wrong pass out or been pressured. There has to be a release valve where you just knock it long as a last option. There were 3 giveaways today and we were only saved because - as seen on a few occasions this season - the finishing in this league is awful. There's nothing wrong with playing out from the back but it needs more rewards than risks.
