I had my reservations seeing as he hadn't played at this level, but he looks so assured and genuinely top class.

 

He's had to change his style too, or at least the style that he'd been known for with us. He's gone from being amazing on the ball and under little to no pressure in the Champ, to looking like someone that can win us a game on his own in a tough league.

Absolutely spot on - get him signed up to a top end contract which will at least protect us from a cheap sale - we were good at doing this when Vichai was in charge - not so confident with this lot sadly !

Yep world class save. But agreed, the first goal was a Ward moment - took tool long to react and move across the ball and just watched the ball slowly roll on from a long way out. Mads' reaction after letting in that goal said everything really.

Utd had lots of attempts on goal, but weren't they about par for what we've faced all season on average, prob even less? If we stay up, letting him go for £30-35m would be very short-sighted - we'd be risking £110m+ in PL revenue if we get relegated the season after we sell him.

 

He's kept us in the fight this season, without him, we'd already be as good as down - just look at Southampton.

Yes he's the one totally class player we have you can see playing Champions League
