Sounds like another bit of  VAR confusion in the Brighton game !

They got given a penalty then it was ruled out for a foul before hand ?

Peculiar to hear after we're all reliably informed it works perfectly in Europe.

He's getting compared to Danny Drinkwater's dreadful spell there for a start.

And many many more.

The theory that he's played as much football as a 32/33 year old and is now past it holds more and more weight by the game.

If you were offered him back for Winks would you take it?

No because he was atrocious for us for months, put in the minimum effort. Winks suits us far better

Exactly this.

Winks is a more stereotypical 'Leicester' player in the ilk of Vardy, Sharky etc etc.

Tielemans and many others in our latter prem years were luxurys as we drifted further away from our identity.

It's been pleasing to see players like Winks and Coady who are much more what we're all about, giving 100% every game and being forgiven for the odd poor performance because you know they'll have taken it to heart themselves too.

Hell no! Prime Youri was great but whether it’s his legs or motivation he’s completely fell off. Winks far better suits our system.

West Ham set a new English European record going 17 games unbeaten, fair play 👏

Is it? How many was that in a tournament that didn’t exist 2 seasons ago. Credit to them if it’s Europa league / champions league but imo it’s a very spursy type stat.

Incredible for Brighton.  I remember them being 30 minutes away from dropping out of the football league.  All those years at the withdean.  Now they've in the Premier league, in Europe beating one of the European greats.

Oh dear Liverpool get it back to 2-1 v Toulouse and immediately concede another - 3-1. Looks like they are going to lose in Toulouse.

And there was me thinking they had nothing, Toulouse.

Winning at Ajax away would be some night

Fantastic win even if Ajax aren’t what they were.

Get confused by this handball rule - it’s really like a lottery .

Good use of VAR there though at West Ham.

Well onside .
