Considering we had offers for him and chose not to sell, someone at the club thought he was worth persisting with. Good for him and us, could save his alot of money next season if he comes good.

Both Cooper and Maresca aren't football managers. They're just planted into the sport and promoted under certain agents and through specific acquaintaship.

Outstanding performance but needs to carry on scoring consistently before we get excited.
