Wouldn’t sign a new deal. Club are toughening up

Club were playing hard ball with him and his contract. The feeling seemed to be why should he be given minutes over other youngsters who had committed their future to the club already? Glad it’s sorted and he can either push for a place or go out on loan to gain more experience of men’s football.

Cheers lads. I wasn't disputing it just thought it was weird what happened, but makes sense now.

Good news. Wonder if he’ll get a loan second half of the year now (providing he recovers from whatever injury he currently has)?

6 months at a decent L1 club would be good for his development.

No doubt he will be back on the bench tomorrow.

I'd love to see more academy players get chances, even if it's just 20 minutes at the end of the game during a comfortable win. Seeing the rise of Kasey McAteer has been a real highlight of the season so far.

I'm yet to be convinced he makes it at this level, but then again I've been very surprised by Kaseys development.

Good news! Maybe a loan or two needed in his development.

Who said it’s that reason? If that’s correct why are Kel Vardy Ndidi etc playing?

They aren't refusing to sign new deals, they haven't been offered anything yet

Bit different when you’re a senior pro and have earned the right.

with the form wilf has shown, it would be ludicrous for us to not have have slapped an offer on the table for him
