If this guy did come in the summer...

And if he was made skipper...

And if he took charge of tactics...

We'd be playing Captain Sensi-ball.

I'll get my coat.

Put your coat down. You're not going anywhere.

That shit's glorious.

Bloody hell, this player comes in kit form he's that injured, we just have to assemble him before every match! Bargain, comes with free screwdriver and spanners!

it’s fairly standard to have these done in the off season but inter won’t pick him so may as well have it done now which means he’ll be in great shape when he turns up for preseason :)

It's an operation he would have had in May. He's not in Inter's plans so he may as well get it done with so he's fit and ready to sign for whoever in the summer.

Absolutely agree. It was only meant tongue in cheek. Think he could potentially be a great signing for us!

I was thinking something similar. At least he'd be in keeping with our propensity of signing players who are already injured.

He's having an operation on his bollocks?

No, you got confused. Some folk on here were talking bollocks about his operation

Sensi flew into England on Thursday morning and passed a medical in London. All the paperwork for his loan move, with an option to sign permanently, was signed.

Then, around an hour before the deadline, it is alleged that Inter sent back the loan arrangement with a number of changes. Leicester could not meet the requirements of the new terms.

The deal was dead. Sensi returned to the office of his agency in the capital and jetted back to Milan on Friday morning, bewildered by the events of the last 24 hours.

There must have been some serious concessions from Inter to agree to a loan deal with an option, given his contract was up. Essentially relying on us to achieve promotion and sign him permanently in June or something weird.

No wonder it was a farce.

lol this was mooted from early Jan, no excuses why the paperwork was not in order

Players will think twice about coming here

I just don't really get the tunnel vision we had on this signing. It was obviously tricky but why did we leave it so late and why wasn't there an alternative lined up? And if it's as simple as we have no money, then why was it ever a consideration at all?

Inter just moved the goal posts, thinking they had us by the balls.

We couldn't meet the new requirements financially.

What about everything else? If it was going to be tricky then why not have an alternative lined up?
