It was only meant tongue in cheek. Think he could potentially be a great signing for us! 1

Outfox the Fox Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leicester-city-enzo-maresca-makes-stefano-sensi-claim-amid-injury-crisis/ Probably good Sensi didn't come - he's knackered - having surgery on his ankle now.

Isn't this simply having the plate removed from his ankle? He'd have obviously had this done in the summer if he'd joined 1

He isnt being picked by Inter so he has opted to have the plate removed from his ankle now instead of waiting for the summer. that means he will be fully tackle-ready for preseason.

All the paperwork for his loan move, with an option to sign permanently, was signed. Then, around an hour before the deadline, it is alleged that Inter sent back the loan arrangement with a number of changes. Leicester could not meet the requirements of the new terms. The deal was dead. Sensi returned to the office of his agency in the capital and jetted back to Milan on Friday morning, bewildered by the events of the last 24 hours. 1

The more we hear, the more it appears Inter weren't as helpful with getting the deal done as suggested 5

There must have been some serious concessions from Inter to agree to a loan deal with an option, given his contract was up. Essentially relying on us to achieve promotion and sign him permanently in June or something weird. No wonder it was a farce.
SecretPro Posted 22 March 2024 Posted 22 March 2024 People are forgetting one thing. WE HAVE NO MONEY AND WE AREN'T SIGNING ANYONE
Tuna Posted 22 March 2024 Posted 22 March 2024 this was mooted from early Jan, no excuses why the paperwork was not in order Clowns Players will think twice about coming here
Dan Posted 22 March 2024 Posted 22 March 2024 I just don't really get the tunnel vision we had on this signing. It was obviously tricky but why did we leave it so late and why wasn't there an alternative lined up? And if it's as simple as we have no money, then why was it ever a consideration at all?

We couldn't meet the new requirements financially.
