You can't have Soumare and N'didi playing together they are both shit at taking the ball in tight spots. Also Soumare can't track players doesn't tackle and spends most of time jogging around. Basically the guy is shit.

With a year left and on 80k per week, we’ll move him on but for a pittance.  I reckon £1.5m at most.   Wonder what we turned down for him 18 months ago and again last summer ………

I don’t think he was hiding for the whole game and I think he’s putting in more effort and running than he has historically, it’s just that now Ndidi is back he looks a lot worse comparatively.

he definitely runs more and puts himself in passable positions more, but passing back to a player who is being closed done by three opposing players is exactly the opposite of what possession based football is all about imo

Absolutely stealing a living, makes one or two runs a game where he resembles prime Yaya Toure other than that he is missing in action, never seen a player on the wrong side of his man so often when we are out of possession.

Yes, it was Hermansen who went after Soumare but to be fair Mads had just pulled off a great save, the ball came out, Soumare pathetically tried to clear it and simply passed it to their player and then just stood there like a moody teenager and watched them score, rather than try to win the ball back. It was refreshing to see Hermansen tell him straight because Soumare's whole play and behaviour around that fourth goal just wasn't good enough

Too many times he carries the ball as if he’s daydreaming. How many times is he caught and robbed from behind with no foul involved. Winks needs to come back in. At least when Mavs and Winks came on, we actually moved the ball forward.
