Wonder if Enzo has considered having a centre half - namely Faes - as the one to step forward into midfield rather than our right back given the absence of Ricardo?

In this scenario, he can play Justin at right back and Doyle at left back, creating a back three as Faes steps forward to provide our overload midfield.

I've said this a while ago to move him into midfield. He'd give us the physical presence that we've lost since Wilf got injured.

Plus he's comfortable with the Ball at his feet. Can pass and support others.

Is he mobile enough to play in midfield, though?

Isn't the Soton game likely to just be the Tues/Weds before the Chelsea game?

We'd be insane to agree to that, given our current run of form and with the amount of injuries we have. Push it back until after the international break when Wilf and Riccy P will be back.

Depends on to do what, he ambles forward at speed walking pace on occasion, and has decent recovery speed. Not the worst shout in the world.

He certainly is mobile enough to play in there.

Look at  Stones for for Man City instance. He's slow yet he's been a revelation since Pep moved him there.

He’s not, which is why he’s a centre half. It’s the same stupid shout as when people said Maguire should play holding midfield

No comparison Maguire turns like the Titanic. He's already our quckest CB.

My confidence has taken a hit but we're still in the ascendancy. Lets make it count for once.

Because it’s a concentration of the most ardent fans. Always has been.

I have been there with 700 & other times where thousands filled the Terrasses and streets +1

And still wanted to get back home for the Buff..  ( I suppose they don’t print it anymore).

I suppose your right..

Also you can’t arrange a game with a weeks notice, not fair on fans so it won’t be before Chelsea

They are in even more disarray than us.

Poor form and injuries with their best player out.

If we can 't win this one we really are bottling it

I think we'll win 2 - 0 / 3 - 0
