AlexFT Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March It's a boost to have Jannik available again, think we've missed that element of control he brings to the side. He will probably come straight back in partly due to rotation but that being said, Coady's two recent appearances have resulted in clean sheets so it's not certain.
Death by Football Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March Jannick has to come back in for his range of passing. He’s the metronome player that keeps the play ticking then starts the attacks.

OwnGoal Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March I’m at this game with family in the Hull end. The sight of Vardy scoring a 98th minute winner and giving it large in front of the Hull fans would be an absolute massive laugh. I’ll probs be getting escorted out whilst he’s doing it but hopefully he will notice me being attacked by their boys whilst he’s strutting his shitshow.
Lionator Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March The Hull forum is actually lovely. No anxiety, just a fan base looking forward to a big game, having fun, loving football. What I’d give to have that mindset.

Whenever these 3 have played together it looks so unbalanced. No point trying to fit all 3 in just fir the sake of it. One simply has to miss out. One of Justin or Doyal has to play left side.

They’ve only played with each other from the start in the league against Ipswich and Wednesday. Both of those games ended with shitty late goals from a deflection and the ball bouncing about from a long throw. For me now it’s about getting a balance of youth and experience, Coady has to play, he’s a calming influence and a leader.

Ric Flair Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March Mavididi will bag tomorrow, I reckon Silko Thomas will have a shot at being on the bench too although Wanya's performance at Bournemouth puts him in contention still too.
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 8 March Popular Post Share Posted 8 March (edited) Enzo Maresca Pre-Match Press Conference vs Hull Maresca on injuries with Vardy being managed and not in training “Kasey is still out. Jamie hasn’t trained. He just needs to rest a little bit. We’ll see if he’s available for the session. Dennis is still out. “Kasey it’s the same problem he had in the past. A bit less than the previous one. Hopefully he can be two or three weeks. “It’s not an injury for Jamie. It’s a matter to manage him because of his age. He didn’t train with us in the last two days." Maresca on Coady v Vestergaard as Dane returns from suspension “Always difficult, not only now because Conor played and we kept a clean sheet. Even before it was difficult because he’s a great player for us. We’ve had many clean sheets with Jannik too. The important thing is we have everybody available.” What do you know about finances? "I have been told the same that you can read everywhere. It’s not something I am paying attention to. We’ll see in the next weeks.” Can it be a distraction? “No, to be honest. We have to be focused. At the same time, it’s something we don’t like. We have 10 more games that’s the most important thing for us. In the next days, we’ll see what happens. It’s something I can’t control, and so there’s nothing to do.” More important to get promotion now? “We always said that getting promoted is something important. Because I don’t know what’s going on in the next days, I don’t have the feeling that it’s more important.” Are points deductions taking enjoyment out of football? "It’s so complicated. They tried to explain to me but I stopped them because it was so complicated. Even if they use social media, so they read information, and this can be bad for the players. They are intelligent.” Maresca on promotion race and not setting target with 10 games to go “We are close and have 10 games to go. We have to focus game by game and then we’ll see at the end. If you start to think about how many wins you need, it’s a big mistake. You could win six and they could win 10 of 10. QPR and Sheffield Wednesday are winning. Everybody is fighting to survive. Every game would be difficult.” Maresca on beating Sunderland and ending three-match losing run “I didn’t see the players worried before that game. The three defeats, I don’t think we deserved one of them. The Sunderland one was the one we didn’t create so many chances. We can’t control the result, just the way we want to play. Sometimes there is no space, like QPR at home. I saw them happy after Sunderland. But it’s a matter of balance. There is still 10 games and 30 points, so it’s still very long, unfortunately for us.” Edited 8 March by moore_94
SecretPro Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March How long is Ricky out for?
AjcW Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March Vardy strikes me as someone who will ease into not doing any training pretty much full time, and just revving himself up for 60 minute starts and 20 minute sub appearances, fuelled by copious amounts of Red Bull. Was it Ledley King who did this for quite a while?
