The bit that frightens me is that according to this he has yet to discuss personal terms :S

Hope that doesn't kill this deal.

There's no way this all happens without personal terms being at least verbally agreed.

As someone who lives near Wrexham, and with my son going to school up here and surrounded by new Wrexham fans thanks to their recent success, this is absolutely hilarious on every possible level.

"ANOTHER PREMIER LEAGUE STAR SIGNS FOR WREXHAM" will be what the clickbait headlines read. And we will laugh until we cannot breathe.

This is good news.

Rudkin, please for the love of anything please do not sign Michael Keane, Ben Mee or Craig Dawson as a replacement. We have enough centrebacks without Coady.

This is the issue. We'll sign someone else who is old to fill the spot!

Thing is surely even Rudkin can see that, as it stands, we don't need another CB through the door!

Nelson, Okoli, Vestergaard, Faes and Souttar

2 of those make me feel ill, and one is injured for the rest of the year at least

Not likely to see Souttar until next year if at all this season. Nelson has been unfortunate with injuries so can only hope that he's not brittle. Faes has made it clear that he wants to leave. We might need one of those journeyman centre backs on a 1 year contract as backup.

He'll take the cut for the media exposure.

Coady thinks he's going to end up Rob and Ryan's bezzie, perhaps a part in a movie like Tony Bellew etc.

He believes the shmaltz of the TV series, but I suspect in reality it won't be quite as A-list as he thinks.

Anyway, goodbye, good luck and good riddance - one more off the books all being well 🤞

Agreed. but right this minute, with our ridiculous policy, It would be weird if we brought in a sixth center back. I would btw

If they have made a formal bid 100% they have already discussed personal terms.

It's against the rules so no one is going to say it, but it happens all the time.

I heard he wants a guaranteed part in the next movie. Apparently he wants the character Liver-Pool!

His powers are babbling incoherently and stealing your wheels

I could accept Verstergaard’s lack of pace because he’s a giant but it’s difficult to accept someone of Coady’s height and build could be as slow as he is. He ‘runs’ like a player with a bad back. He’s not capable of playing successfully in a back 4 and can only really function in a niche role as a central positioned centre back in a back 5. So from that perspective he might get on better at Wrexham. Enzo realised he wasn’t a good buy and barely played him - Coady is obviously great for team bantz but that didn’t help us one bit last season. Overall I’m very glad to see Podcast leave.

This guy loves his own waffle enough as it is, imagine how much he's going to milk the US exposure. He'll be on a podcast in California one minute and having the game of his life against us straight after.
