Think he's probably the worst England manager of my lifetime. 

 

I've said for years that his track record has to be viewed through the lens of the quality of players he has and how poor a lot of international teams have been in this generation. 

 

France are the only country on the planet that have had a better talent pool than England during Southgate's era and even then he only beats low ranked teams and gets favourable draws. 

 

If one of your super stars doesn't produce a moment of quality outside the actual tactical game plan you just don't win.
