Id rather use the money to pay off Faes and Mavididi. Whilst BDCR is limited ability wise, he seems like a decent guy and wont cause any issues or potentially be a bad influence on the youngsters. He will also give 100%. Same cannot be said for the other 2 wasters

On the rare times he touches the ball it's a lottery whether it's a scuff, stubbed toe,.air shot,.miskick,.under hit pass or a (superficially decent) flick round the corner (which I think is a reflex, survivalist 'get rid of it in a way I look professional' manoeuvre he's developed)

 

Of course, like any recreational player he can sometimes kick a ball with relative grace. He clipped in a decent goal at Norwich and calmly finished at Derby. But technically, i mean on a real, granular  technical level, most 5 a side pub players can kick a ball like those.two goals were kicked.  Both were kind of stroked home - which is more to do with timing than technicality.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spot on. The idea hes technically good is a myth. He seems to have little to no core strength and without that stability it provides you can never be a technically good player at a professional level.

Yes, but he has to agree.

 

He has to be willing to take a reduce amount, or it not worth it.

 

If he want paying for the whole year he may as well stay.

The only reason to pay him off if he won't take a reduced amount would be if he was disruptive, but by all accounts he's a good pro so unless he'll do a mutual agreement with lower pay off just keep him around

His overall (lack of) impact outside the box is the biggest issue. The ball doesn’t stick, he’s physically less effectual than even Thomas.
 

With Reid, Cullen, Thomas, Alves and Skipp we have half the outfielders unable to compete physically. We can put a good XI out but it needs to be balanced
