Very upsetting.

 

His achievements at the club - not least as a fantastic stand-in manager in the spring of 2017 - make him a genuine LCFC legend.

Don't think anything will ever top the Sevilla game for me. My greatest night at the KIng Power and what he's one of the most important people in our history. Without doubt.

Just would have thought they would have had it ready to go, it's not like they wouldnt have heard it earlier than when the LMA released it. 

Anyway, it's minor I guess and just hope they mark it with a celebration of what he achieved at the first game of the season 

 

Thoughts are with the family, really sad news.

I would imagine it's the latter. He deserves more than just a tweet, they'll hopefully be preparing a larger statement which might take a bit of time.

A lot of other clubs and other people linked with the club seemingly didn't know about it earlier than when the LMA released it so really no reason to think the club did either

Terribly sad news. Never heard a single negative word uttered about him, which in such a competitive environment is testimony to his character.
 

Gave us such great memories, and although we didn’t personally know the gentleman, you could tell he was a proper bloke.
