It's funny Pep gets the stick for ruining football because cargo cult m ongs like Postecoglu and Martin copy him.

Not really much of a punishment is it

Brighton & Hove Albion have been fined £20,000 by the Premier League for breaking youth development rules.

They have also received a six-month ban, suspended for one year, from registering any academy players currently or previously registered with another club.

I was hoping for some details because I'm confused as hell lol

I look forward to Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U getting battered if this is against some kind of rules.

Gotta laugh at Postecoglu man.

Picks a footballer who is absolutely terrible, he plays absolutely terribly, Ange says that that's unacceptable.

It's Timo ****ing Werner, my guy, what are you expecting.

Getting "I can fix him" vibes from Ange.

I enjoy his Kamikaze football, but he's on a hiding to nothing if players like Werner, Solanke, Johnson and Maddison are regularly starting. Werner, Solanke and Johnson are all unbelievably inconsistent, Johnson probably being the best of the bunch.

Then you've got Madders who on form is superb but also a massive liability in that he's got absolutely no fight or urgency on the pitch and can go weeks or months putting in 5/10 performances.

In fairness he's right. Brighton they were robbed and against us too

Well not really.

Maybe they should have more than 5 points because 5 points at this stage because that is historically shit, but the bloke is in denial. They've played nearly half a season.

We didnt rob them, we played the entire game and came away with the points. You could argue it was fortunate but that's football.

If I was a Saints fan I'd be absolutely fuming with him. Clearly putting his own career ahead of the club that employs him.

Hopefully, football can start to move away from this total obsession with possession and go back to being about entertainment and managers like him can go away.

He's hoping all this stats-padding will lead to him pulling off a Vincent Kompany-style move to a bigger club. But what's the point of having high possession when it's all just passing between your centre-backs and keeper in your own box? All it's done is lead to a record number of goals conceded from defensive errors.

Exactly. But I don't think he's really legislated that Kompany had a fantastic playing career and a good level of charisma, which will boost his job prospects. Martin has neither.

Werner, Solanke, Johnson and Maddison

Don't think Johnson or Maddison deserve to be lumped in with Werner. They're solid top six players, Johnson has had a good season so far.

Would agree that Solanke is very mid table and I don't know what possessed them to pay that fee.

Maddison not fighting is a myth I don't get. To me, he often seemed like he tried the hardest out of the whole bunch (along with KDH) during our relegation season.

And how Werner has become so bad, I really don't know. From being comfortably Germany's best striker to this is astounding.

Derbys singing section makes ours look absolutely w*nk. About 1000 of them all singing.

we have about 40 singing then about 300 with their arms folded 🤣

It’s also very easy to stand and sing when you’re 4-0 up

last season we would a few games by two goals + at home and our support was sh*te

Imagine how bad it would be without our singing section

Because the majority of games even when we were comfortable was boring to watch. The only game last season where we looked really good imo was Southampton at home when we played anti-Enzo football.

you’re not getting my point.. most of the singing section don’t sing and it’s not talked about enough on here when people moan about atmosphere. 400/500 have physically relocated into that section and not singing when that is the purpose of it. Only a 30/40 lads near the bottom most of the time

Did you see the Palace, Bournemouth, Everton or Fulham games in the run-in that season? Didn't see a lot of commitment from Maddison then.

It was almost as if he'd mentally checked out. As with Tielemans, he knew he'd be moving (in his case, because of FFP), whether we stayed up or not.
