Considering the amount they did to get him, huge they're getting rid already

This would suggest to me that working with Radcliffe must be an absolute nightmare. Ashworth has proven he's just about the best there is in that role. To leave after 5 months, I'm guessing he either thinks the expectations are unreasonable, that Radcliffe is an absolute bellend to work for, or a bit of both.

Wouldn't shock me, he's hardly been successful at Nice or some of his other sporting investments - cycling for instance

come on then top, do your stuff and get him in

Shocking. He will be back in a job very soon. United seem a mess. Remember years ago playing champ/football manager and United at some stage in year 10-11 would collapse, sometime go down. It would feel unrealistic, not anymore.

I imagine it’ll be to do with the manager hiring.

You can imagine Ashworth shortlist was something like Thomas Frank, Southgate etc… whereas United once again have decided to go for someone who has done well in a pony league lol

I mean Ashworth is supposed to be pretty knowledgable so I don't think he's the sort of union jack cape wearing weirdo who waxes lyrical for Southgate while dismissing managers who've bossed it on the continent.

Remember when fans went nuts over the idea of a super League and the football media gushed over how much sway the fans held.

Look at the state of this 2/3 years on. A 'new format' champions League and plans to examine the coefficients that guide membership and this pile of Americanized crap.

Make no mistake - the decision to hold it state side is a pointed and strategic one. It is another way point to getting the FA's desired 39th game.

I said it at the time - those protests were way too weak; fans allowed themselves to be placated far too easily. There should have been genuine destruction and disruption over weeks.

Tbf I’m all for a super league, let them **** off.

Unfortunately, the thing is my idea of a super league and their idea/proposed plans are very different.

They want a super league alongside the current system. They want their cake and eat it.

Maybe not Southgate but there has been a suggestion Ashworth had other options and wasn't really involved in appointing the current manager there.

I can just imagine the headlines now.

“King Power approach Dan Ashworth”

”Ashworth rejects King Power for more gardening time”

”King Power make new offer to Ashworth”

”Ashworth unveiled as new sporting director. At Leuven”

It's funny because of who it is but from a fan perspective it's awful.

The gall of the that cvnt to remove concessions and talk about needing money after the year they've had and money they've spent on ETH, Ashworth and Amorim is disgraceful.

These pricks are fcuking insatiable and continue to tear the game away from us.

then there's no point in him being there anyway. Amorim is a good manager (although probably won't work at Man Utd because they need a complete root and branches restructure at the top and to bomb out half their squad who down tools every time they don't agree with their FIFA UT rating) but any DoF should be involved in appointing the manager, if not why do you even have a DoF?

We aren’t.

We're miles behind the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal etc. Probably Brighton and Villa as well.

We're a decent manager and a smart transfer window away from Forest.

The way they describe it as being for PSR reasons as though the £30 or whatever will make the blindest bit of difference is pathetic.

Forest are in a false position atm and will return to the bottom half by the new year

They're miles off a top six side.

Listing sides who are better than them will just end up being like your list of potential managers when Cooper was here.

That's really poor from Ipswich. Needed their home form to carry them this season and it's not there at all. No points from Palace at home and Bournemouth at home despite winning the latter on minute 87.

Can't the clubs outside of the big 6 break away and form their own English League?

Break away into what? The big 6 wanted a European League whilst maintaining domestic PL status.

What exactly would the other 14 be asking for? Other than to be out of the PL and have none of the TV and commercial money?

Unreal that that point only puts us level with the turd that won’t flush Everton.

They’ve been pants all season, stinking the place out again but will once again scrape survival before they move into a stadium that they haven’t funded.

Would probably take a West Ham win tomorrow against Wolves now to keep the bottom 3 that bit a drift.

Trouble is that that almost certainly ends O'Neil and they'll have their own new manager bounce for their game with us.
