We're really not blessed with options.

I never realised there was that many close to Goodison/Anfield.

I doubt there's 174 pubs in the Leicester city limits.

I thought the same, I assume they just want all away fans not on coaches to drink in Birmingham and train in/out as quickly as possible.

Is there a more unwelcoming or restrictive city for away fans drinking (not counting a high risk/bubble) than Wolverhampton?

My thought process is that this survey is utter bollocks. Brentford would be way near the top

Agree re Brentford.  Their old stadium had a pub on every corner at one time.

And Fulham considering how close it is to Stamford bridge and closer to central London. I can think of 5 off the top of my head that I’ve even been to.

It’s within a mile of the ground. Brentford, Chelsea, Fulham etc is way more than a mile from central London. Newcastle is within a mile of pretty much all the pubs in the city centre.

Can't be arsed to start a new thread but Trey Nyoni has just come on for Liverpool in the champions league, what's happening with his move to them? Are we due/discussing compensation? Surely the figure has gone up tonight of we are?

wouldnt liverpool and everton both have 48??

No because if you drew a 1 mile radius around each ground there would be parts of it not over lapping. So one will have pubs the other doesnt and vice versa

If villa take in £77m for Duran then their PSR issues are surely done and dusted ?

What did they pay for him? He hasn't been there that long.

20m I think, so 57m profit because of the hype. Not that I think hes a bad player but he's hardly proven himself yet.

Its great profit, I'm confident Villa didn't really want to sell him though... This is where PSR is all wrong, clubs having to sell young talents or best players to keep inline. How can a club ever progress when they have to sell at least one asset every season.

Yeah, a few things at play, the deal is too good from a PSR point of view, means they can have far more financial flexibility in the future and also from what I have read/heard he is a bit of a nightmare to manage off the field, and mix that in with it seems like it's him or watkins to start most games.

But yes I think PSR and having 50m in profit in the books when you already have watkins is the main thing.
