And whilst he looks like an amazing talent, no one knows how he will respond mentally to the money next season.  Can’t see us getting anything like the sums some of you are imagining until he’s 18.  And even then that will depend on what players were able to put out with him. If we surround him with average then he won’t be able to show his potential properly and his fee will be suppressed as a result. 

If he continues has is, considering the money in football, they'll find a way to make it happen.

I'd love him to stay but look at the state of the club, I'd be surprised if he is here in two years time.

He looked elegant on the highlights reel.

 

That confidence to just stop himself dead, which is a challenge to the defender to come and get the ball, defender was in fear, and he just casually passes it.

 

Then the goal.

 

It was like I was watching Mahrez, and no looking down either, knows where the ball is.

 

Enjoy while it lasts, I think he will be gone within 2 years.

I thought about  this too, but honestly 5 years ago would have have been given the same opportunity he has now? I feel that he would have gone out on loan and probably then sold on. It's tough to say. He could have been the difference between finishing 5th and finishing 4th. (I believe that the end of that year 20/21 post FA CUP) was the start of our downfall.

It has probably been said in one form or another on here already but watching the goals back it was hugely disappointing that the lads didn't mob Jeremy when he scored. Youngest ever goalscorer and pretty much all of them just jogged back; how many egomaniacs are there in this team?

I get where you're coming from but there's no way he'd be getting these chances in that team.

 

He'd 100% be at Man City by now if he came through when we were good.

We just need to make the most of this season with him, regardless of what happens this year he'll be gone next summer

 

Has his head screwed on and made the right decision to stay and play for now.. but a proper season around the first team realising exactly how crap things are will surely turn his head
