Dawson has two things against him - he isnt assured on the ball and his age. But he is a proper defender. Our standards in that area have dropped significantly. 

 

If he has got 6 months left in him, honestly and if we do use him properly, he could be a a very shrewd and lucky signing. 

This was one of my questions answered then! 

I can understand the obvious need to drop Vestergaard (and Faes), then find a partner for Okoli, but that new partner would need to be able to pick a pass like Vestergaard can.

Always rated Dawson, but as others have said...we're about 5 years late on him! 

 

...He's probably a better defender than what we have now though, even at his age so it wouldn't be a terrible loan. Says more about our current crop of CB's though to be fair.

 

The bigger question is what do Wolves want Coady for!? Weird.
