Actually a decent weekend for us in the end other than covs win which was a bit crazy. Picking up early points while not playing great will be a big boost to us later in the season

Saints and Ipswich have played each other though, but I get the point. Could be worse

We have had the easiest games though

Much like last season when Ipswich gave it a go and were the darlings of the premier League for a while , we were catastrophically bad as we know but still finished above them

How much desire do the majority of players have to get there again and be pumped every week

Good set of results for us today. I think the likes of Cov and Boro do have a good opportunity this year, the league seems more open than normal. Admittedly that may change by the time the window closes.

Shows what even a point last week could have done for us. Need to have the mentality to at least get something even if it isn't our day, especially away from home.

Stoke and Preston seem to start well most seasons 😂

Coventry 7 goals from an XG of 1? Naaah surely not?

I thought you were taking the piss but you're right, their xG was so low.. Not sure how this is possible

If you have 7 or more shots then 7 goals is possible, whatever the xG.

Looks like they had their shooting boots on as xGoT was 3.0.

Will Stoke actually do well this season or have they just had a good start?

Robins is a good manager, they have a nice blend of youth and experience, and Robins seems to have positively raided the East Asian market again too. However of the teams who have done well so far, you’d expect them to fall away, or at least from away the automatic places.

Too early in the season to have a proper idea how things will go. I mean Ipswich haven't won a game yet, sheff united have lost all 3, Southampton on 4 points and Preston have beaten two relegated sides whilst being a relegation contender.

Only thing I do think is a probability from the opening three rounds is that its likely to be a much tighter league than the past few seasons where the top 3 or 4 are miles clear. I had initially thought Ipswich would run off with the title with Birmingham in tow with Sheffield United and Southampton, with us a but behind due to a deduction.. but I genuinely see about 10 teams now that are much of a muchness, I just hope we make a few decent acquisitions so that we can be one of them.

I've enjoyed Wrexhams run up the table, but with them really flexing their muscle this year spending wads on absolute fodder im glad to see them throwing points away

Classic Ward today - dived in the wrong the direction, out of the way of the ball for the first goal.

Fantastic at spotting talent and picking up players for peanuts.
