Boro game going to be a bit awkward tomorrow.

Thought they’d at least have popped him on leave tonight and let Woodgate take charge tomorrow.

Perhaps they will tomorrow morning!

If you’re telling me this Bristol City team is 7th then I say this league still has a lot of levelling out to be done.

I agree the league is woeful but that was as close to a Bristol City reserve team as you will get this season

They didn’t play too badly considering tbh .

Disappointing first half performance after a great start from us .

Better second with the subs made after a poor team selection I think tbh .

Credit to Bristol City - played well and certainly merited a point .

Mate, even given Leicesters plight right now I still can’t imagine how frustrated you must get with your lot lol

Recent weeks you’ve beat West Brom, smashed Boro, took a point at Ipswich, I know you lost at Coventry but even down to 10 men thought you were the better team.

Lesson learnt in putting my weekends betting funds on a home win lol

Yeah they're mediocre like everyone else in this league but my they have a crippling injury list.

I reckon they must have glass rather than grass at their laughably titled "high performance training centre" as the Bristol Bears also train there and their injury list is as bad or even worse!

Yes and they had an injury crisis too but typical of us to not take advantage.

Sorry about that !

I don't understand why it's taken this long to ban Osmajic if it's clear he was guilty.

I just read the bbc article, heard the story when it happened but don't know much more.

The article is mostly quotes but a quick skim read seems that it isn't obvious he said anything like that at all.

It feels like they only banned him because....... well I'm not too sure tbh.

For Wolves point of view, they going to hire a manager that got relegated last time round in the top flight. Not exactly going to fill you with optimism if you Wolves. Safe to say he wouldn't be linked if he hadnt played for Wolves.

Speaking to a cov fan near me (yeah i know, i know) and his take is that their first 11 is strong but squad not good enough to maintain current form when they get injuries and suspensions.

Id tend to agree.

People said that about Leicester 15/16

Shades of Mark McGhee ditching us for Wolves. That didn't go well for him, and I don't think this will go well for Edwards.

It won't go well for wolves. Vastly overrated manager.

That's not a good move for Edwards IMHO. He'd be better off biding his time, staying at Boro and waiting for a better move.

Wolves is a big club, but like us, it looks like they're a bit of a shambles behind the scenes. I can see them being where we are in 12 months.

We're going for him because the only alternatives are foreign journeyman managers. We've tried that with Pereira and it hasn't worked long term, so we now we've decided to go for someone who knows the club and the supporters intimately.

Can't say it excites me at all because he's failed at this level before. I'd certainly give him a go over having O'Neill back or some unknown Portugese manager though.

At this point beggars can't be choosers.

In terms of career it's a shite move for him as he was seemingly rebuilding his reputation at Middlesbrough

If he has any sort of success with us, even if it's just short term then it raises his profile back up again.

If he doesn't then he'll still get another Championship job based on his time at Boro. It's win win for him. And he can point to the appointment being a personal ambition for him rather than just jumping ship at the first offer if clubs question his loyalty.

If it was any other club I imagine he'd have turned it down.
