Backs up what I've heard from someone who works at Seagrave. Players were asked to stay later for additional coaching sessions on set pieces and many refused to because they don't live locally, those exact 3 of Vesty, Coady and Winks were the names mentioned. That might be why set piece coach Andy Hughes has been sidelined.

The players are ridiculously pampered by Top, I also heard that he has been regularly chartering a private jet to Paris for Soumare as he is apparently feeling homesick. This is the problem, the owner has no understanding of incentives or the value of money, he just gives them whatever they want.

Then that says more about the players as well. All entitled little moaners. They're taking liberties and not repaying that with their performances. It's pathetic. They need to be moved on. Pearson had to do it in his second spell here, so it can be done. It's just finding the next younger Pearson.

Should have picked the dog instead.

It might have been able to hold onto a lead.

Any input on the staplers/bulbs ? Can cross post to staplerstalk and bulbstalk. All seems very lcfc around here.

Obligatory Leicester comment: Muzzy Izzet. What a man. People rave about the Grimsby goal but those in the know know that the Watford header was the one.

Wallace writes a couple of critical articles a season. He wrote the best one during 22/23.

As a neutral journalist you would want all teams in the league to offer something. Presently, we don't. Good that it is being highlighted.

Sorry guys but this story has made me depressed, more depressed than Leicester (City and Club) have made me before. I had no idea Vestergaard was commuting from London. Surely a stipulation of the new contract should have been to relocate more locally. Makes the potential moves he turned down even more interesting when he was quoted as saying he stayed put because of a new born....

Just noticed Jordan Ayew signed for Aston Villa in the season they got relegated too...

I remember when a pool table at the training ground was the biggest controversy there.

Is it time for Leicester AFC to form and start climbing the league pyramid? Will they pass Joggers FC on the way down?

Everyone and his dog (ironically) knows that the culture at the club is rotten.

Too much player power, distinct lack of structure and leadership, no accountability, no responsibility, no discipline.

It all ends up filtering on to the pitch. You lose key personnel and don't make adequate replacements then the only direction is downhill.

We're useless as a club on the pitch as well as off it. It further emphasises the disconnect between the owners and staff, then staff to players.

It begs the question what everyone is doing on a daily basis (apart from Top swanning off to play Polo or whatever). The people he leaves in charge are incompetent and it's bordering on negligence at this point.

Reset needed on the pitch as well as off it...

I bet he is so pleased they are paying him back with results and effort for his kindness.

Far too much player power with this collection of overpaid jokers, I wonder who the ring leaders are, there is always one or two who think they're special, better than they actually are and know better than the manager, then start spreading their discontent when they don't get their own way.

The Seagrave Holiday Hotel and Spa might be a world class facility but  has become a sespit of idleness and luxury for the current team we have, better proffesional players would appreciate it this lot are taking the piss, get rid of them all as soon as possible the club is in a disgraceful state and everyone associated with its running should be ashamed!

Too many tails wagging the dog!

Didn’t Vestergaard turn down a move to Fulham a couple of years ago go because he didn’t want to move his kids out of school? Doesn’t add up if he lives in London.

Wasn't that an offer of a move abroad? Germany or somewhere.

Yeah, turns out it was. He did turn down Fulham separately though, but that was apparently because he felt Leicester was the better "sporting option".
