Totally

They have also looked at a loan option, they are not renowned big spenders so anything north of £30m & imagine they will be pushing for that loan. His MV is actually €10m lower than when we sold him but your right Chelsea will want "World Club Champions" cream on top.

Fulham 1 of those clubs he could go to & just have a steady, nothing fancy, premier league career i guess.

You say that but they paid 35m for smith-rowe so who knows.

any smart club is trying to push for a loan so I’m sure that will be what happens

In fairness, spending a couple of years at City's academy and then, as someone eligable as a French national, getting the chance to play first team football for a Europa League side in France isn't exactly the most terrible use of 3 years is it?

No sure its what he signed for Man City for!

thought we were rid of having to play against this guy. So annoying to play against, good at the “dark arts” aka cheating and crying.

He's shit, and it was an absolute travesty that when we played Everton for the first time last season instead of fronting him up against Fatawu, who could have torn him to pieces, Cooper decided to match ages and put Ayew right wing.  Keyunt!

He's absolutely slated in that thread. He'd given this heart felt interview of how he'd walk from Milan to Watford to play there again.

Has been offered the chance a few times, offered captaincy and his son an academy place.  And rejected them for a bit more money at Ipswich

The ‘next’ top priority sums them up…..

They also want Xavi Simons that would be €80m+ dropped on another AM, KDH has to get out of there asap.

Let's be realistic, you don't get anyone for 5 million. We paid 20 +5 on add ons. His market value is prob similar to longstaff however skipp is younger and longstaff only had a year.left

Agree - therefore don't bother. It's one thing overpaying for someone we need. Neither manager valued him above around fourth choice at all. An absolutely terrible deal.

No, and that's why Norwich have been in the Championship for 4 seasons.

To be fair, Schlupp would fit Marti's system to an absolutely tee. A LB who can play CM and winger.... He's almost custom made for what Cifuentes wants from his FB's.

Saying that, I still don't think we should sign him.

Would schlupp get into our team?

No, but would have been a reasonable squad player. Cover at LB or in midfield, unfortunately we already have enough over 30, overpaid players.

Norwich brought Diallo from France who we were in for so no doubt he will score v us !

Been quite busy with help from Udinese of course .

Hopefully some actually turn out to be decent signings for once .

Norwich look like they're building a young squad like Sunderland did.

Not quite sure how they manage to spend the money they do but think the wages must be reasonable and sell well year on year.

I wonder if they were relying on Sargent going and have already used the money from it.

Selling Sainz for pure profit (£14m) covers all their signings this summer across the 4-5 years but they do well each year. They also banked Johnny Row money this year too I think as he was initially on loan?

I’d love him if we sold Bilal.
