Wish refs would apply the letter of the law all the time. At the weekend Rodri pulled someone's shirt that ran past him. First 5 minutes though so the letter of the law doesn't apply then.

Mourhino to Newcastle is a possibility, especially with the Sir Bobby connection, Eddie Howe return to Bournemouth maybe. Palace might scupper that though if they want Howe.

Marco Rose one of the front runners for the Bournemouth job.
Imagine 5 or 6 years ago where we were and where Bournemouth were.
Look at both clubs now.
Absolutely shocking.
Bournemouth potentially hiring a sort after manager who’s succeeded across Europe while we have an Oxford reject who at best is a draw specialist while heading to league 1.

Rumours going round that Gordon thinks hes better than Newcastle. I cant say I watch Newcastle every week but I've always (possible slightly bias) rated Barnes higher than Gordon. AG always seems a shoe in for the England side while Barnes barely gets a look in. Anyone on here watch Newcastle more than me and can see anything in Gordon I can't? Hes always come across as a bit of a bell end as well, whilst Barnes seems a nice down to earth lad.

This is a really interesting point. I actually think not being more outwardly confident is one of Harvey's biggest downfalls.

I think you're absolutely right and there's not much in it ability wise, but Gordon has that "put me out there i'll make a difference" aura that gets him more game time for both Newcastle and England.

I watch them most weeks, this season has been a disgrace to be perfectly honest, the front 3 has changed every week and despite investing almost £200m quid into it in the summer, in recent weeks they've had a front 3 that consisted of players from the year previous.

Elanga has been dreadful, Wissa has been injured and then dreadful and Woltemade has been mismanaged beyond belief.

Gordon is at his level for me, i'm sure he could go and sit on the bench for Man City like Grealish did, but he might as well try and make a good career as a starting player in and around Newcastle's current level.

I think they'll realise this summer they've really messed the project up. They never signed a squad, they've just added individuals and the majority recently have been poor. If they lose Bruno, Tonali and Gordon this summer and have the same management and recruitment structure they could end up in a Tottenham situation quite easily.

What the fvck are Bournemouth doing?
They have a manager leaving at the end of this season and already they have a replacement sorted for next season.
I didn’t realise that you could sort things out this season for next season.

Surely the rule book says that you wait until 3 weeks before the end of preseason, and bring in the players the manager doesnt want.

This Spurs game doesn’t look much better than the game I watched earlier.

Quality is abysmal. This is non league quality and even worse. I'm just waiting for the NBA games to start. The demise of the sport is unbelievable.
