Whatever the situation, personal or otherwise - if she isn’t up to the job mentally she should resign as 70m people’s economic stability rest on her and her party making correct decisions. That goes for men, woman or otherwise in that position.

Truss got dogs abuse, far worse than this, because in the course of 44 days she killed the queen, crashed the economy, spooked the bond markets and sent millions of people's mortgages skyrocketing.

 

Reeves has had to inherit the disaster of an economy that hadn't grown for 14 years and had had several serious shocks to it from Truss's mini budget, to Brexit (which will continue to harm our country for decades to come), Russia invading Ukraine, and a disgraceful COVID pandemic response which cost several hundred billions of pounds, and for which several of the members of that government should genuinely be in prison.

 

Worse, she also has to deal with constant global economic chaos created by the fascist in the White House.

 

Yet despite that she's actually having a reasonable bit of success.

 

She was most likely upset yesterday because in trying to fix one of the many, many basic governmental services the Tories broke and save money the country doesn't have, she instigated an extremely stupid and harmful policy that caused serious amounts of grief in the government and resulted in her personally getting a hell of a lot of 'dogs abuse' from her own MPs and the continued Tory press who literally helped cause the problems she is solving.

I honestly can't see her going anywhere. The changes they have already implemented will be bearing fruit in the next year or two. 

 

I honestly think we've become addicted to short termist political chaos in this country. Starmer and Reeves will still be here in 2029.
