I played at the King Power in 2016 a couple of weeks after the season finished and the pitch looked similar then. I imagine in May/June they must just not do any maintenance on it. It’ll be fine by August,

My grassroots u15 team played on the KP pitch last season, and it was in the same state then, but that was at the end of May, looks about a month behind last season.

Surely will be relayed before the start of the season BUT knowing this game was on and it being on the telly, it shows a lack of professionalism. It will mean we are unlikely to get games like this again. Especially when you consider we compete with the City Ground and Pride Park.

 

Remind me, what exactly Whelan does again ? ****ing parasite.

Nope, this isn't the same at all.

 

There's been a specific issue with the grass this off-season that has been difficult to overcome.

 

Staff have been working overtime to try and improve it.

If it's not fit for purpose we shouldn't be offering to host a the England women's team in my opinion.
