The EFL are just sitting back and watching the club be destroyed. They really don’t care do they. Disgraceful.

I hope they are rescued. Reading did at the last minute. It sounds like there are interested parties but Chancer is just hanging on. He needs to be forced to sell.

Having lived in Sheffield for a few years I saw how much Wednesday mean to their fans, it's really sad and infuriating to see what Chansiri has done to their club.

Can only hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for them and a successful buyer comes in and gets them back to where they deserve to be.

Sheffield wednesday seem to be one of those clubs that get one bad owner after another....such potential there too.

Is there really that much potential? Two 'big' clubs in a small city with other 'big' clubs nearby and no real global following.

6 largest city (population) in England apparently. Large metropolitan area when you include Rotherham and Barnsley too who have their own clubs but not big.

Leeds further north, but I don’t come across Leeds fans living in Sheffield. Manchester across the Pennines. To be fair, it is a city where most shirts you see are Blades or Owls.

Didn't realise Bannan had left

Although out of contract, he's still training with the remnants of the squad.

This seems very similar to the season after we won the premiership.
Had Hull away first game and they had a load of injuries and very little incoming players.
Everyone thought it would be a formality that we’d win that game. We lost 2-1.

With the state they are in we might get chance to see Will Grainger play for them

He is a striker we should be bidding for regardless of the mess they are in

Any news on Lorenz Hutchinson?

This has all the fcukin hallmarks of a famous Leicester City embarrassment. They could play Ron Atkinson in goal and we'd still lose.

That's where my mind goes too!

Feel sorry for them, but good chance to get ourselves off to a great start

Same, feel for them but we've got to be ruthless.
