This seems very similar to the season after we won the premiership.
Had Hull away first game and they had a load of injuries and very little incoming players.
Everyone thought it would be a formality that we’d win that game. We lost 2-1.

Think our goal came from a 'dodgy' penalty

Is this actually going ahead given the potential collapse of SWFC? Players leaving and management gone. Who's coaching them? No tickets being sold for the away end. What a mess. Sad.

Is that right about the away end?

Just realised I've basically repeated what you said.

3 points to us and a 3 nil win?

Daka would still miss all three

Some absolute class posts on here from Leicester fans who 'get it'. Appreciate the moral support and I know there's plenty of tongue in cheek comments about you losing this game but fvck me we are completely on our knees as a club. It would be genuinely stunning if we snatch a draw with the squad we have available and it could be even worse come 10 August. Ultimately it doesn't even matter because we are dead and buried already. Most fans are not focused on the results on the pitch but on survival. We have no clue about the ability of many of the players we have because they've never played much football but we don't have a high quality academy anyway so the presumption is this is a potentially league 1/2 level team at the moment.

I know you guys have your own struggles which look worrying and you've experienced the admin years and League one before etc. I wouldn't wish it on anyone so hopefully you get sorted soon aswell even though it looks and feels bleak.

We have all been there. If not as bad as you have it at the moment. But things do move on. Clubs, if they are big enough, do survive. Good luck to you. I hope you get something better than you wish for.

Good on the Wednesday players if they refuse to play with not being paid. Not bothered about the 3 points that we get...got to look at the bigger picture!

Poor Wednesday fans, I really feel for them. Players refusing to play for a televised game will be huge and will have to make the EFL take note and take action. The owner has just left them to rot while the EFL sit licking their bowls of pudding.

We’ll win 3 or 4 - 0.

Get the 3 points.

Then have them taken off us when Sheffield Wednesday fold.

What's happening at Wednesday is awful. It's baffling how so many clubs - even big ones - are ran so unimaginably badly by either devious/uninterested/bat-shit crazy people or good, clueless (and often well-meaning) people.

Fans should be able to just worry, celebrate/moan about the performances on the pitch, not whether they will have a club to support next week.

As Leicester fans, I'm sure most of us can relate, too.

Hope Wednesday fans actually go into all out protest mode now, they’ve not really gone for it yet and Chansiri has been terrible for years.

Even if it does go ahead with their youth team or whatever, there's a chance they go under during the season and any points we might win get wiped off later.

Always liked Wednesday, proper club and supporters so its terrible to hear a club of that stature is going through so much shit.

At the end of the day we are all football fans and must see the bigger picture as a few clubs are really struggling atm(wed, Morecombe Bury in the past).

The Tv football fans only see the massive stadiums of the Premier league and the millions they have with the likes of Manu taking their real fans for mugs cos they know they can sell tickets to the tourists.

Its not all rosy in football...

Good luck Owls in the bigger picture but hoping for a narrow 1-0 win from a Daka goal as he is looking away from the action and the ball hits his arse and somehow goes in!

Is that really what happens?
