Yes it is. Poor players in a week squad that looked on for relegation before Rohl rescued them. Now Rohl has gone and they've lost a lot of players and haven't replaced them and people are nervous they're going to give us a tough game? 

 

And for all the 'it would be typical Leicester' comments, that was Leicester pre Marti. He certainly isn't going to let us get dominated by half a team and a load of kids, and if we somehow do start to look as though we're struggling, he's got the tactical nouse to change it up. 

 

Don't fall into the trap of thinking we're back with Cooper and RvN who just put a side out and hoped for the best. We now have a manager who knows what he's doing.

Including their top 4 goalscores

 

Then there is a question around whether their next top goalscorer and "star" player can even play

 

Their starting 11 is going to be very very poor

Just writing that down, its quite a strong squad for the championship, I'd prefer to have a proper striker, sell soumare and bring in someone like brownhill. But on paper its a decent start

 

That’s the line up I’d like with the idea that for the final 20-25 minutes you can switch out the whole front 4 for McAteer - Alves - Monga with Daka up top, give them something new to deal with and fresh legs. 
Fear he may favour Soumare over Skipp and start Faes though.

Probably. He has the ‘luxury’ of another game in a couple of days so can spread the minutes around the squad to see them in real battle. It will be interesting to see his ‘first’ team in two weeks or so.

Yes me too, he’ll have experience and youth at centre back, just can’t make my mind up on weather he goes with Vest or faes.

I’d like to see us try this as Cifuentes did similar at QPR by not playing a recognised striker and mixed it up with wide players in forward positions. It gives the flexibility of switching who plays up front. 
I get the feeling he’ll start Ayew. 
I’m not sure if Ricardo will be fit for this if not Winks in for him.

Exactly this.  I suspect their starting 11 will be largely Championship standard so not expecting an easy ride.  They certainly lack depth and at full strength would be bottom half Championship.

 

A win should be expected.  A convincing win is possible, but nothing is guaranteed.

 

As a side note, given the incoming points deduction, goal difference could be extremely important come the end of the season. Most teams will be licking their lips at the prospect of Sheff Weds at home, especially if they pick up some injuries.  I'd hate for us to 'see out' a 2-0 win only to see the likes of Southampton and Ipswich hit them for 6, 7 or 8 later in the season.

Starting line up will be very telling today. Its a slightly difficult game for Marti, as the expectations are that we are going to thump the wounded soldiers, but i imagine Marti would rather start and cement in his favoured 11. But i think that best 11 might not be the best against a team thats likely going to sit very deep and try their luck on the counter.

 

Originally i felt the front three should be Fats, Ayew and Mavi. Thinking about it, Mavi struggles with deep block and Monga has the skills to break them down. I'd start Monga because i think his skill could be too much for then, especially with Fatawu and Bilal sniffing around the attacks as well. Bring Mavi on when they are knackered. However, if we were playing a better side I would start Mavi

Winks Skipp (i think he goes Bouba though)

Fats Ayew Monga

 

Bring Mavi on in the 60th minute so we have a bit of time with him and Fatawu, but Abdul will need Rotating So Kasey likely comes on around 75th minute.

 

I do think we will see one of Jannik or Faes start though as i think he will likely want to opt for experience. I don't like Jannik, but he seemed to have a specific leadership role against Fiorentina and putting his limitations to one side i think he did that job well. So i think he will do this:

Either way, im not losing my shit on starting Bouba or Jannik yet(!).

Never got the dislike for Thomas, looked a real prospect when he broke through and has been pretty badly managed since.

Prefer him at left back to either JJ ( when did he last have a good game) or Kristiansen.
