Why do people keep mentioning walkers like they were in the running or something ? A cool sponsor from 20 years ago - ain’t going to happen. 70% of teams are sponsored by betting companies

People are moaning but the club needs sponsorship money.

 

If the only money we are are getting that can help boost us for a short period is a betting Company then so what who cares.

 

Honestly if it is making our PSR look healthier and anyone disagrees and wants "walkers" for example for 10% of what we would get for BC game then they are idiots.

 

Its about survival and you do anything to survive not take the moral high ground.

b) We don't know the details of the deal and any claim about the amount of money coming in is pure speculation; for all we know, we could fare better financially with a different sponsor

c) BC Game is a highly dubious company

What an absolute pathetic cycle we had on this. BC games is money laundering, end of. Appears again not not after Susie left. 

 

Utterly disgraceful from the club and the current CEO...oh wait look who that is.

Please can someone design a shirt to be worn by lcfc fans... that can be purchased with profits given to anti gambling charity and an anti gambling  logo instead of a sponsor.

 

I could help cashflow  a batch

 

 

It's now time to picket the fan store on matchdays urging fans not to by items with the bc brand.

 

The FAB and the fan survey critisised bc sponsorship.

 

Can we protest with a slogan or chant?  Ideas?

If we are min/maxing on the sponsor front, ending up with a dodgy betting company most likely a scam; how the flip do you account for overpaying on transfers and wages?

Completely disagree. It isn't about the money. I'd like the club I've supported my whole life to have some morals and values. Or even to pretend it has.

 

BC Game is incredibly dodgy- even by football sponsor standards, which are embarrassingly low anyway.

 

I'd also add that any deals made with this outfit can be taken with a pinch of salt. Have a look at their history - I can't see how they can possibly have £40m at all, let l alone to use to sponsor a football club.

Arsenal get ~£50m per season from Emirates for front of shirt sponsorship. Don't be daft.

Perhaps sometimes it is worth considering putting scruples and decency before profit.

We could turn that on it's head and say that we've done this to ourselves by self-sabotaging our secure place in the top flight. It wasn't a problem having King Power on the shirt for essentially free for the many years we were a secure PL mainstay - or even in the years leading up to promotion and the great escape. But then again, we weren't throwing top six wages at increasingly average players back then. Or clinging onto a self-destructive worm of a manager because he won us an FA Cup and had a ridiculous release clause (then sacking him anyway after the damage was done).

 

Factor in King Power's own financial woes due to the pandemic and the deck of cards has come tumbling down. It was never sustainable without wise investment on the pitch, which we haven't done since Puel was here.

 

We shouldn't have to be relying on nasty, grubby 'companies' like this just to balance the books. It speaks volumes of the vile financial state of the club. By all means yes, take the money, but we as a fanbase should call it what it is - an embarrassing admission of our mismanagement.
