Promotion is a distant dream. 18 months ago many of these players were completing a 3-0 win against these to confirm promotion. They no longer have their heart in it. Whatever it takes we need a massive clear out.

It’s how far this squad has sunk that I feel he has to start with Daka up front. Daka is a rancid player, but Ayew isn’t a striker.

 

There are similar decisions across the team. Winks has to start as he is our only midfielder. 
 

We have a choice between Faes, Vestergaard or Okoli. 
 

It’s James Justin or Luke Thomas. 
 

Even our better players are vastly overrated. Bilal can go missing and Fatawu is incredibly hit and miss. 
 

It’s an absolute sh1t show that can only be sorted out with at least 4 or 5 signings. We either haven’t the ability or haven’t the intention to sign anyone. 
 

Without signings we may as well give up now as there is little chance of top six with this squad and certainly no chance of top two

They were. The defence was actually pretty solid and Hume was a real tryer. The whole team was actually, just of very limited talent.

Really and quite thankfully, pathetic. 
 

Bullied on and off the ball. Preston wanted it more, and worked harder. We kept trying things that just weren’t working for most of the game but Preston successfully managed to identify our weak points and go direct again them.
 

Monga the only one that can come out of that without any credit whatsoever. We had a 5 minute period either side of scoring when we finally looked ok but then we just shot ourselves in the foot. Trying too much around the box trying  to be intricate and get caught on the break.
 

A lack of heart, a lack of enthusiasm. Tried to walk the ball into the net or shoot from ridiculous positions. Obviously, and typically Daniel Iversen makes an unreal save to deny Fatawu. 
 

We desperately need additions to freshen all this up. The players need to take a long hard look at themselves after this as well.

I really don’t mind losing games of football. 
 

But when you’ve got players swanning about on mad wages, who don’t want to be here, not putting it in and we only look decent when a 16 year old comes on, away at ****ing Preston, it’s just not good enough. 

The people running this club have killed it. And now players are giving up because they don’t want to be here.
