Sounds like an Ipswich signing going for younger players. Get the impression Marti quite likes him. On his day he is capable of scoring maybe lacks the confidence or pace to get past players on the wing. Looked really good a couple of years back then got injured. Anyway with so few strikers and attacking midfielders fair enough assuming the money will be reinvested in those other areas (may be a foolish assumption)

Plus I rate him. he's one of the few players we have that can get into goal scoring positions. Despite having a limited technique.

 

I don't expect our players to be brilliant, or win beauty contests. But I do expect them to be effective. Which Kasey can be. Maybe thats what Ipswich sees in him.

Sunderland wanted him and now Ipswich, yet some turn their noses up.

 

No doubt he'll be a squad player at Ipswich, the same as here. He for whatever you think of his current talent will form part of the squad be on lower wages and is young and hungry.

 

Basically worse off without him and no sign of incomings Christ we really will have to play the kids.

I suppose wingers would be Mavididi, Monga, Fatawu, Ayew, Alves and BDCR. Should be plenty enough.

Nice lad but not very good. When he first came into the team I thought he'd end up a decent player in League 1 and nothing I've seen from him since has changed my mind.

Slightly breaking from mould here. There's a serviceable player there if you surround him with some talent and play him right, you have a player worth having. But he's going to struggle in our current shape and he's not the type of player who's going to come on to change game. 

 

HOWEVER - my worry really lies around you selling one of the better attitudes who is more in tune age wise with this young crop we have. He's quite a wise lad and I am told, he's really good around Seagrave with the youth teams etc. You selling someone who cares and that its going to mean a lot of the next couple of years.

Feel like he's a little bit underappreciated by some of our fans. Looked really promising when he first came through in 2023 and it's difficult to evaluate a player over the last twelve months when you consider how dysfunctional we've been. As others point out he seems like a good character as well.
