Same again for Oxford on the 24th? Whenever the Happy Cl...oops, sorry, don't want to offend anyone, cant find a way to spin it that boycott's are pointless and blame the low attendance on weather, date, time, airspeed velocity of unladen swallows.

Then again, whilst we are playing shite, the attendances will drop themselves.

I've bought tickets for Notts County on the 24th instead.

Thinking of setting up a thread for their game against Chesterfield on 14th March to see if anyone fancies going as a big group to support Sammy and also boycott the QPR game. Equally could choose a Chesterfield home game on a date we have a home game too.

Seeing more and more fans on social media saying it’s just the “young” & “spoilt” fans kicking up a fuss.

You don’t have to be ancient to remember our relegation to the third tier.

I'm 26 id had a season ticket for 3 years by the time we were relegated. Granted at the time it was free for anyone under 8 so it wasn't that much of a waste when I had to miss night matches and stuff. But the suggestion that you have to be old to remember our worst times is rediculous.

Irritates me when certain section of the fanbase churn out the old "we always were a yo-yo club" line with the condescending claim that younger supporters are just spoiled by, let's face it, some pretty outrageous successes over the last 10 years. I have the feeling some are almost comforted, or at least too ready to accept, a return to the days of yore, willing to overlook the utterly shambolic stewardship of the club that has overseen such an incredible drop off and wasted an opportunity to cement our place somewhere close to the top of the football pyramid.

I for one don't care much for PL football. It's boring. But not having sustained access to it's riches doesn't bode well for the future. I fear the writing is very much on the wall, which is all we seem to have in light of the deafening silence from the club.

The funny thing is, within the context of our history, the mid-2000s wasn't the norm. It was abnormally bad. Of the ten lowest league finishes in our history, five of them occured between 2005 and 2009.

Had a ST since the season after the Blackburn play off defeat and this is probably one of a  handful of home games I've missed.

Newcastle at home in our last Premier league season being the last.

To think this is what lcfc has become that ones who have seen 💩 on a regular basis aren't going tonight due to whatever reason.

I wont watch, I wont listen I wont follow the result( probably will check on internet though)

Was so close to not renewing last season and wish I hadn't now.

Hope it hurts the hierarchy  when they see today's attendance  but I actually dont think they give a flying fvck which is the biggest worry...

Last time I checked we live in a democracy where different ideas , opinions and choices are open to everyone, this situation is purely about personal preferences and definitively not about being right or wrong.

I suggest those childishly name calling , criticising people and trying to influence or dictate how others act and feel should focus on dealing with your own extreme unhappiness as opposed to hissyfitting over others having a different point of view!

Maybe those feeling so strongly should exhibit the true courage of their own convictions and make your non attendance and protest a permanent one , that'll really show them!

We’ve had Monday night games before. On TV. With freezing temperatures. Why hasn’t everyone stayed at home then ? Hmm

"You need a unified response".....and you think arrogantly insulting fans attending the match will unify them?  Dream on.

I agree, a unified response would be much better.

But when you have fans who disagree with those who voice their displeasure at how the club is being run, the well documented failings and then hi-light the fact that Top and KP are the culprits for the above situation   but are then met with a literal punch in the face and physical abuse. I'm sorry but action of this kind can't and shouldn't be tolerated and is much worse than calling someone a 'chappy clapper'

The very well put together "Reason to boycott" notice earlier in this thread clearly points out our current plight and the only failing that have caused this. TOP, the LCFC BOARD and KP... no one else.   Yes I can see from your previous posts you are aware of this personally and haven't questioned the fact.

 However ..

There is still a large number of match going people who are blind to the above, or are actually aware of it and choose to ignore the situation or simply just don't care.

But when the well documented failings of the club ultimately role down hill and affect the most important aspect ...the match its self,  these people i mentioned above are happy to just clap post match and accept these failings and not even challenge the reason behind them.

Clapping if you look in the dictionary is to show appreciation of something, its to celebrate something good, positive and worthwhile.   Those who go and "happily clap" a 4-1 battering after a disjointed, clueless, performance because they are "backing the team" or "Sticking by them, though the good times and the bad" etc.  are IMO not helping.

You also posted recognising the efforts of the players in a previous post, would you consider the 4-1 battering, or one of our numerous poor performances, over the last 3 or 4 season to warrant clapping?

Personally I don't,  but there are still a number who would happily clap and reward the sh1t on the pitch, which is a byproduct of the failings of the club's hierarchy...

Loving the mentions of “…on TV” like it’s the 90’s and being able to watch the match at home is a rarity.

Up until this season, and perhaps last season, everyone would have braved any day of the week, any temperature and any TV selection to be there. If they aren’t, then it’s proof of a club losing its fanbase.

I'd rather have younger supporters who want to watch better football and standards around the club than people who put their club down to defend the owners.

Any supporter should be pissed off with the way we have fallen off so hard given the position we was in only a few years ago.

It's a disgrace.

Boycott when it isn't cold

Boycott when it's not on TV

Boycott when Top is here

These people don't want a boycott at all, ignore them
