Walking down the stairs at the end of the game I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Not an insignificant amount of people enthusiastically applauding that off. It's the equivalent of watching some bloke sleep with your missus and then proceeding to tuck him in once he's finished. I cannot fathom the logic.

Careful, I just used the exact same analogy and got lynched

Sorry Bert, not laughing at you. That is outrageous and exactly what we’re dealing with and exactly why we’re ****ed. These people are unreal.

People around me were moaning about fans leaving after we conceded the second goal. how can you blame them? After weeks of dreadful football, then losing to Oxford, how can you to turn around and blame the fans. 🤨

Heard bar 72 was nearly full by 60th minute

Loud argument reported from the dressing room after Wrexham too. Also been reported earlier in the season, arguments at full time between Marti and Rudkin...

That's interesting as they don't fecking talk to each other on the pitch!

No leadership. On the pitch, or from the manager.

But that just mirrors the club as a whole. What a shitshow, what are they doing? Where are we going? No-one knows and they can't tell us.

Cifuentes has to go after that, but I do have sympathy for him. But who next out of Top's "coaches who play what I like" manual?

We still haven't got anywhere near appointing a Technical Director (nor CEO), and that has to come first before a new coach, surely?

Just a complete shambles.

Honestly think we should get rid of all 1st team players and only use the kids or loaned players who are both have some fight in em. Also need to get rid off players who clearly dont wanna be here. The club needs to wake the f up and realise the players are not bigger than the club. Worst bunch of idiots I have ever witnessed

There's something in this.

I know there's a riskin putting a lot of youngsters in the team and you have to accept that you'll get inconsistent performances from them.  But I think that the current situation with several disinterested players doesn't provide an environment in which the small number of youngsters given a chance can thrive, and I think several players who do care have also regressed with the players around them.

Imagine a squad comprised of the few experienced players who do, or want to, put in a shift and the rest of the places filled by our most talented youngsters.  Of course we wouldn't get instant success, but I think it would enable teams to be put together which supporters could more readily get behind.  It would provide a much better playing environment in which players would be more likely to progress as individuals, but also to fight and play for each other on the pitch.

I think we’re almost down to the levels of the  2004-2008 era.

Not quite there yet as that dragged on for a few seasons before we were relegated, but it’s desperate at the moment.

We look an absolute mess on and off the pitch.

I don’t usually challenge strangers but today I calmly and politely asked “Why are you clapping? What are you applauding? What have you seen that’s worthy of applause?” They couldn’t answer. “Some semi-famous people are clapping you for attending and you feel obliged to clap back? Are you a seal? Are you a mutton headed zombie?” They didn’t answer. :dunno::frusty:

I think Page & Monga deserve a “well tried” but ffs :appl::appl::appl::appl:for the others?

Me and my mate have a bet on a Saturday.

if I’m going to the match he puts it on.If he is working I do.

Both doing our things today. So I  put it on,but said I won’t look and  just let it run.Like I do if that’s the case.

Anyway,I was more interested in that for the last 5 minutes.i looked and saw it was doing ok.Which never happens.

Bromley 89th minute

Bolton 90+1

£409 Cashed out and was talking on my phone to him whilst the players were walking over.Way more exciting.

put him on loud speaker so he could hear the natives disapproving.

My behaviour was so telling of this team,I’m getting older and tend to moan to myself if I see people on their  phones at a match.

After seeing our midfield it was kind of what I expected. I had a few quid on Oxford but cashed out before they got their second as I foolishly believed we were going to equalise.

Stayed until the end didn’t applaud them off but didn’t boo either. Ultimately we’ve got no saviour arriving in the transfer window and those players wearing the shirt are the ones who are going to have to find something from somewhere to try and get us out of this mess.

In a way it's a shame that we achieved what we did in the glory days because the fan base, including me, now hope for the equivalent. That's never going to happen and most of us understand and accept that.

However the drop off is so disappointing and frustrating.

If we'd never had those heady days of unexpected, wonderful success, we wouldn't be bemoaning the situation we're now in because this level would have always been the norm

Sadly we had that almost intangible "thing" that we strived for and it was down to a perfect set of circumstances.

Now things have changed.

I agree that we should be performing better but we'll never be as we were in the cup/title years.

I'm NOT a happy clapper BTW. Just a realist.

I genuinely believe that the relegated 2007-08 squad was (much) better than this lot.

The only game I remember that season when we were really awful was near the end, when we struggled to a 1-1 home draw against a dismal bottom-of-the-table Colchester Utd.

Apart from that, we were often poor.  Sometimes very poor.   But never as abject as this current lot.

Left at half time with quite a few others. Got bated by the Ox fans for doing so. I didn’t really care I just wanted to get out of there and get home. How this club is existing at the moment is beyond me.

The heart has been ripped out by an atrocious leadership, chairman and board and a manager who’s talking only to himself. . As for the players? No words are worthy.

I left after 20 minutes, could see by that point we were never getting anything from this game.

As a fan you can accept your team being shit but at the very least you want to see a TEAM playing together, all pulling in the same direction.

We’re an absolute disgrace of a side.

One of the worse games I’ve ever been too. Left when they scored the second.

We’ve got nothing. Shit manager and players who think they are better than what they are.

Well done to Oxford.

I feel sorry you went pal, don’t bother going , not if Jordan f**king Ayew is starting!

Only positive think I can say is Louie Page. Not perfect by any means, ****ed up for their first goal but at least he didn’t hide, kept asking for the ball and kept trying to be positive. By contrast, Choudhury the opposite. Hiding, every pass must have been back to the source
