Pliskin Posted 31 January Posted 31 January His family are all local, his brother lives and works in Leicester I believe….. if he’s fit, I would have him. He’s a leader and more than good enough for this level.

Bert Posted 31 January Posted 31 January If there’s 6 clubs that have shown an interest, you can rule us out. 2
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Would have been good signing 5 years ago… and sigh, it’s probably a good signing for us now. If nothing else, the sudden flurry of press reports show that panic has hit the boardroom. 1

BigGibbo Posted 1 February Posted 1 February Why are we exclusively looking at players that still require a full pre-season to get match fit? Glover and Rudkin are literally dumb and dumber. Thickest, laziest, most unimaginitive recruitment team in world sports. 3

There must be some form of collective brain damage throughout our executive suite.
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 1 February Posted 1 February If he can get fit I'd be very happy with this. We need leadership and somebody to organise the defence. However, I don't really trust we'll get him fit or keep him fit, so this feels more like a Conor Coady signing than a Robert Huth.
Rubbersoul Posted 1 February Posted 1 February If he can stay fit then 100% but i feel like I’ve barely seen him play football in years
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 1 February Posted 1 February His injury record combined with Seagrave the ACL/MCL destroyer, what could possibly go wrong! 2

Well if they were match it, it would suggest they're still required by their current team, so it'd be difficult to persuade them to accept our offer of £0 spread over 14 years.
fkas Posted 1 February Posted 1 February Birmingham are rumoured to be offering actual money for him so it's unlikely he'll come to us as he we'll be offering a loan deal no doubt.
BKLFox Posted 1 February Posted 1 February Lascelles has often been praised for his "old-fashioned" defensive approach, focusing on keeping clean sheets and performing the fundamental duties of a centre-half. It’s been awhile since we had 1 of those 😔 1

I actually can't believe it, the only redeeming quality of Faes and Vestergaard is their ability to pass the ball. Otherwise they both are completely shocking defenders. If what you're saying is true about Lascelles, its going to be a breath of fresh air to have a CB who can actually defend.
Haywood_6 Posted 1 February Posted 1 February People questioning his fitness. If he was 20% match fit he'd still be better than ****ing Okoli 2
coolhandfox Posted 1 February Posted 1 February We need a Huth, Morgan type who will head and kick eveyting!
LCFCJohn Posted 1 February Posted 1 February Of this flurry of transfer rumours, this one makes the most sense. Obviously concerns around the lack of games he has played but we have to be realistic about who is available in January when we can’t spend. He would bring many qualities we are missing like leadership and being an actual defender, not the excuses for defenders we have recruited for a number of years.
sm1 Posted 1 February Posted 1 February He's plenty good enough for this level. Not that he'd come here unless we offer one of Rudkin's famous contracts.

Perhaps somebody should be telling our ‘defenders’ cos that’s where they’ve been going wrong.
