Rowett bigged up Aribo this week suggesting his skill set is better suited for a scrap…so he starts Hamza.

He bigged up Richard’s 2 weeks ago suggesting he could cause problems for opposition due to his rawness snd being an unknown quantity…he’s not even made the bench since the words came out his mouth.

9 pts from a possible 30 is it, Christ I hope he does 1 once it’s confirmed that we are down, also (if somehow) we do make it he is also escorted from the estate as it won’t be down to him it’ll be down to the FA/EFL hitting WBA hard.

Absolutely heinous that Aluko isn't starting. Looked so good on the ball and had a willingness and the ability to drive forward with line-breaking runs but then hasn't been seen properly for ages. Pompey are going to be all over us today and we need an out. Relying on Mavididi and Fatawu who are doubled up on constantly isn't the answer. They may come up with a moment of magic (more likely Fatawu out of the two) but they can go whole games being frustrated by a willing and organised defence. Thomas tries, I'll give him that. But we need Aluko's legs on the other side as - and I hate saying it - Ricky is cooked.
